New Year's celebrations
League of Legends ushered in the 12.2 update this week, and the Genting Game mode will also usher in the first New Year celebration "Golden Lantern Blessing" in this version. After all, the traditional Lunar New Year is coming soon, and Fist Games also hopes to bring some festive atmosphere in the Game of Genting. At that time, the client page will have Chinese New Year-themed activities, and we see some spring festival-themed little heroes appearing.
Mid-season update for the S6.5 season
After the Spring Festival event, it is expected that in February, Genting Game will usher in the mid-season update, and the S6.5 season will officially arrive. The theme of the new season is "Neon Night", a version with cyberpunk technology as the main element, and we will also get the "Source Project" theme of the little heroes.
Judging from the news released so far, the new version has 20 new heroes, including Kuch, Xavier, Kazik, Lucian, Arrelia, Wally Bell and Lexe, and Alista will join the Genting Game for the first time.
The Empire and Battle Academy bonds were removed and replaced by two new bonds, Hex Technology and Deacons. Hex Technology, which includes Alista, Gavin IV, and Cersonne, has the effect of causing shock waves every few seconds, allowing all allies to gain shields from the actual combat footage. The effect of the deacons has not yet been determined, but includes Brand and Leona.
Genting's first original hero
Last year's league of legends first animated series "Battle of Two Cities" was a great success, the original character Shirko was loved by many players, although he is a villain, but the strategy shown in the series, as well as the spoiling of Jinx, touched many players. Therefore, the designers decided to make Hilco the first original character of Genting Game.
Since Silco didn't show up in League of Legends, he had to design from scratch, and all the art assets were remade. In this developer video, the official released two concept art drawings of Hilko, his image is basically the same as in the animated series, and it is not clear that Shirko's specific bondage and skill set are not known.
S7 Season and S7.5 Season Preview
The Genting Game S6.5 season will end in May, followed by the S7 season, which is based on dragons and sanctuaries as the current situation. But since next season is still a long time away, there are not too many official spoilers, and we see the appearance of the star god Oroy. The new season should be the main dragon and star god, oroy's skill is the full map big move.
Due to the success of the S6 season's Hex enhancement mechanism, the S7 season's theme mechanic has also been based on the Hex enhancement with some changes and a combination of mechanical elements.
