High incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in winter: see how cardiovascular doctors can guide them?

The 78-year-old Grandma Zhang recently came to the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Department of the Second People's Hospital of Hunan Province (Hunan Provincial Brain Hospital) for hospitalization, which is the second time that Grandma Zhang has been hospitalized in the Cardiovascular Rehabilitation Department this winter.

It turned out that Grandma Zhang had a cold a few days ago, and had a cough intermittently, so she went to the pharmacy to buy some cough medicine to eat, and after eating for two days, she did not get relief, and today she suddenly had difficulty breathing and a sense of suffocation, frequent coughing, coughing out pink foamy sputum, and she also felt irritable and fearful.

Associate Professor Xing Zuzhong, director of the Department of Cardiovascular Rehabilitation, learned that Grandma Zhang had a history of chronic heart failure, and combined with Grandma Zhang's clinical symptoms, it was considered that lung infection induced acute exacerbations of chronic heart failure. So he immediately assisted Grandma Zhang to take a sitting position, sagging her legs, giving high-flow oxygen, diuresis, vasodilation, anti-infection and a series of symptomatic supportive treatments. After a few days of treatment, Grandma Zhang has improved and been discharged from the hospital.

High incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases in winter: see how cardiovascular doctors can guide them?

Cold weather in winter and constriction of blood vessels are a high incidence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, and lung infection is an important cause of acute exacerbation of the original underlying disease.

Associate Professor Xing Zuzhong reminded: We must take precautions in winter, especially patients with cardiovascular and cerebrovascular underlying diseases must not take it lightly.

Usually develop good living habits in life, pay attention to keep warm, avoid respiratory infections, do not let the body be overly tired, and carry out appropriate exercise according to physical conditions.

To ensure adequate sleep, wake up slowly, it is best to wake up for five minutes after getting up.

Avoid getting too emotional and eat less spicy and greasy foods.

Patients with three highs should pay attention to the control of hypertension, hyperglycemia, high blood lipids and so on.

When taking drugs at home, it is necessary to take drugs according to the doctor's doctor's instructions, and avoid adding and subtracting drugs and stopping drugs. If you feel unwell, you should see a doctor in time for standardized treatment.
