After announcing the postponement, this year's 64th Annual Grammy Awards announced on Tuesday that they would be held in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 3.
CBS and the Recording Academy reportedly said the music extravaganza would take place a week after the Oscars. The awards ceremony was originally scheduled to take place in Los Angeles later this month, but was postponed due to the pandemic.
"We are thrilled to bring the Grammy Awards to Las Vegas for the first time and host a world-class show." Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. said in a statement.
This year's Grammy Awards ceremony will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, with Trevor Noah, host of the "Daily Show," as the host of the night.
According to CBS, the CMT Music Awards ceremony, which was scheduled to take place on April 3, will be postponed and broadcast on CBS. The award will be voted for by fans to select their favorite country music artist.
