According to data released by the Office of Risk and Disaster Management of the Ministry of the Interior of Madagascar on the 9th, "Bazire" has caused at least 89 deaths. Among them, the eastern coastal city of Madagascar, Ikungu, has been severely affected, and at least 71 people in the region have been killed by "Bazire". According to the ABC citing relevant statistics, the strong winds, torrential rains and floods caused by "Bazire" have caused at least 6,000 houses, 20 roads, 17 bridges to be completely destroyed, and nearly 8,500 houses have been flooded or damaged.
