The comprehensive NATIONAL BROADCASTING corporation and the Daily Mail reported on January 21 that a man in Florida, the United States, fought with a bear on the porch of his home on the night of the 19th, saved the attacked dog, and surveillance filmed this picture.

At around 7:25 p.m., Walter Hickox was standing on his porch, and as his dogs walked to the door, a bear jumped over the railing and attacked them. Walter turned to fight the bear, pushed the bear out, and blocked the door with a bench. Walter was scratched by a bear on his back and arm, but fortunately the dogs were not injured.

Walter's wife said her husband thought it was a neighbor's dog that had come to attack their dog, and he punched it up and found it was a bear. Walter also said he had an idea at the time, fearing that the bear would cross him into the house, and if so, his wife and dogs would not know what would happen.
