The book divides the 15 competition events of the Beijing Winter Olympics into three parts: skiing, skiing and ice, and each project is described in detail according to its development history, competition equipment, competition rules, venues, and action analysis. In order to make the project illustration concise, easy to understand, vivid and intuitive, the author uses realistic, generalized, simplified, exaggerated and other expression methods on the basis of referring to a large number of literature, hoping to bring readers a sense of immersion.

The creation of this book lasted three years, and is the phased result of the 2016 Humanities and Social Science Research Planning Fund of the Ministry of Education "Research on the Visual Orientation System of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics".
