At the beginning of the new year, as a representative of China's post-80s emerging oil painters, "Youyi's Assertion: He Zige Works Exhibition" opened in Beijing. The exhibition is planned and hosted by Beijing Yamingtai Art Museum, exhibiting more than 30 cutting-edge works such as He Zige's latest creations of "Song", "Portrait of Meng Hu", "Farewell to the Overlord", "Portrait of the Horse" and so on, which has been highly recognized by the industry, especially the love of young audiences.

At the opening ceremony, Ren Qiliang, member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former deputy director of the Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, made a speech, he believed that He Zige, as a scholar-type artist, the works exhibited this time are more about using contemporary personalized language to re-expound on traditional Chinese and classical art schemas, showing the valuable exploration spirit of young oil painters and the inclusive creative vision of the East and the West.

Zhang Donghui, executive deputy director of the Humanistic Quality Education Center of the University of Science and Technology Beijing, fully recognized He Zige's creation from the perspective of aesthetic education, believing that it provided viewers with a contemporary and open humanistic feeling in the form of art sharing, inherited Chinese culture, and made useful explorations for the prosperity and innovation of socialist literature and art.

He Zige, also known as He Jingjing, is currently an associate professor at the University of Science and Technology Beijing, a doctor of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and a member of the China Artists Association, and has received widespread attention as one of the representative painters of the post-80s group. During his doctoral studies at the Central Academy of Fine Arts, he deeply grasped the essentials of artistic thought by his supervisor Yuan Yunsheng and created a number of works of greater academic value. He Zige has held solo exhibitions or participated in group exhibitions in New York, Cairo, Sydney, Paris, Madrid, and Tokyo, and his works have always tried to reveal the meaning of the infinity of time and space and the experience of short life, giving people a deep impression and infinite imagination. Representative works include "Loulan Ancient Country Series", "Taihu Stone Series", "Walking Through the Four Seasons Series", "Song Series" and so on.
