Jin Geng, a native of Yongkang, Jinhua, Zhejiang, was born on March 5, 1944. Li Zhenjian, the founder of the Zhejiang School, entered the room as a disciple and studied ink figures with his teacher for thirty years. He is one of the main participants in the excavation, collation, construction and development of Wong Tai Sin Taoist culture, and has created a huge Taoist mural "Emperor Chu Ping Sheng Xian Tu" in the world's Taoist famous "Jinhua Temple". He participated in the creation of Huang Binhong Art Museum and served as executive deputy director for many years. In 2001, jinhua municipal government and the China Academy of Painting held the "Huang Binhong Award• National Higher Art Academy Rookie Chinese Painting Exhibition" and "National Chinese Painting Teaching Seminar", one of the main implementers, concurrently serving as the director of the office of the organizing committee and the executive deputy editor of the collection. He was a member of the Fourth CPPCC Committee of Jinhua City. From 2012 to 2014, he was nominated as "China Innovative Calligraphy and Painting Artist" by the Ministry of Culture and Cultural Industry Magazine for three consecutive years, and the nomination was "Outstanding Representative of New Zhejiang School Figure Painting".
