From the side, the new generation of Mondeo adopts the dynamic appearance design of a four-door coupe, with a length, width and height of 4935/1875/1500mm, a wheelbase of 2945mm, the overall size of the body has increased compared with the current model, and it is expected that the interior space will be more generous. The body has a forward-leaning posture that is ready to go, and the three lines of roof curve, shoulder line and waist line are integrated into the rear of the car, which has a more sense of speed. In addition, the new car features a highly technologically hidden door handle and a two-tone body.
In the rear part of the car, the new generation of Mondeo still adopts a short tail design of the slipback, and the upturned duckling tail also emphasizes the performance attributes. The taillights incorporate classic three-dimensional design elements and outline the surroundings with a sporty blackened inner cavity treatment. The new car has a hidden exhaust layout, but still has two chrome exhaust trims on both sides.
In terms of power, the new generation of Mondeo will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine codenamed CAF488WQC, with a maximum power of 238 horsepower, and the transmission is expected to match the 8-speed manual transmission.
