In the sixty-first year of the Kangxi Dynasty, on November 13, the Kangxi Emperor died and Yongzheng came to power. But this time the transfer of imperial power was very special, there was no written edict, only dictation. Although according to Yongzheng, this was kangxi's own dictation, but there are also historical records that show that kangxi, who was seriously ill or dead, could not speak at that time. At the time of Kangxi's death, there were only nine main characters in Changchun Garden, eight princes and one Long Keduo. But what Roncodo did that night was actually quite clear. First of all, Roncodo organized martial law against Changchun Garden by force. Secondly, Long Keduo, together with the old thirteen Yunxiang, led the troops to escort Yongzheng back to the Forbidden City. In the end, Ronkodo also sent troops to completely blockade the capital, and for nine days, all the palace ministers were under control to ensure that Yongzheng could ascend the throne smoothly. And after that night, for more than half a year, Roncodo became the first person in charge of Yongzheng's personal safety. Then Yongzheng can let Longkeduo take charge of his own safety, which is the embodiment of Longkeduo's loyalty to Yongzheng on the one hand, and the embodiment of Yongzheng's trust in Yongzheng on the other hand. Since then, Roncodo has also been regarded as the absolute nemesis of Yongzheng.
But this lone minister who has long kept a distance from the crown prince, when did Ronkodo choose the team Yongzheng? We have not found any records on the archives to look up, so it has become an open case. There are two main speculations, one is that Long keduo is just firmly fulfilling Kangxi's will. The second is that the "hot and cold stove theory" says that Ronkodo, at that time, if you burn the hot stove of the powerful Baye Party, then Roncodo is just a small capital among many ministers, and there will not be much gain.
