introduction:
In many film and television works with the theme of the War of Resistance, there are "sharpshooters", but most of their performances in the play are mythologized. When I mention the sharpshooter, I will think of the "machine gunner who can shoot the devils out of eight hundred miles away", to know that the straight-line distance from Beijing to Hohhot is also more than eight hundred miles, this line is obviously a bit exaggerated. So, in real life, is there really a sharpshooter? The answer is yes. Although their abilities are not as magical as they are said in film and television works, they are enough to make the enemy feel frightened. Today, I will tell you the legendary story of the "sharpshooter" Wei Laiguo.

body:
During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, there was a general in the State of Chu, known as "Yang Youji", who was the best in archery and had the ability to wear Yang in a hundred steps. In modern times, our army also has an outstanding soldier, called "Wei Laiguo", who once killed 110 enemies with 120 bullets, achieving a legend.
Wei Laiguo was born in rongcheng city, Shandong Province, an ordinary farmer, although born in the countryside, his family did not have land to cultivate, his father also suffered from very serious asthma, and the family lived a life without food. For Wei Laiguo, only when he was in his infancy, he did not suffer hardships, and when he was a little older, he followed his parents up the mountain to collect firewood.
Later, in order to reduce the burden of life of the family, Wei Laiguo was sent by his father to work in a landlord's family, and at a young age, he had to be exploited by the landlord, working hard every day, but he could not get equal remuneration, Wei Laiguo worked hard for a year, and the money earned was enough to buy eight liters of corn.
After being squeezed for a year, Wei Laiguo really couldn't stand this kind of life, so he found a job as a bricklayer, although the work was a little tired, but at least he could get an equal return, even if he was tired, it was worth it.
The turning point in Wei Laiguo's fate occurred after the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japan, when although he was only 14 years old, he had an ambition to defend his family and defend the country, and joined the army with his uncle, first participating in revolutionary activities in the local anti-Japanese vanguard, and officially becoming a member of the Eighth Route Army two years later.
Although Wei Laiguo did not receive systematic training before joining the army, he was still very talented in combat, and later participated in dozens of battles, accumulated a lot of experience, and his marksmanship became more and more accurate. At that time, the armed forces of the Eighth Route Army were still relatively weak, and for Wei Laiguo, every bullet he was very precious, every time the marksmanship was inaccurate, he would feel extremely heartache, and once the enemy even slipped under his eyes.
Since then, Wei Laiguo has made up his mind to practice marksmanship hard. In order to avoid the recurrence of such incidents, Wei Laiguo was very strict with himself and did not allow himself to slack off a little. With his efforts, the accuracy of his shots has surpassed that of most fighters.
In 1946, after the outbreak of the Liberation War, Wei Laiguo received orders from his superiors to lead the soldiers of the four companies to the town of Donglangezhuang, and they had to face the elite troops of the Kuomintang, with two regiments.
Whether in terms of troop strength or combat equipment, our strength is far from that of the Kuomintang troops. But it was in this situation of disparity in strength that Wei Laiguo used his precise marksmanship to lead the soldiers of the four companies to beat the enemy to a flower.
In the course of the war, Wei Laiguo will always take advantage of the gap in the enemy's shells to shoot at them, after each knock down an enemy, the soldiers around him will put a stone, after the end of the war, the soldiers counted, there are 110 stones, that is to say, Wei Laiguo defeated 110 enemies, and he only used 120 bullets in the whole process, so the accurate marksmanship is impressive! It has been recognized by the senior leaders of our party.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China, Wei Laiguo also remained in the army to work, continued to carry forward his "sharpshooters", and trained many outstanding military talents. Soon after, Wei Was promoted to deputy commander and worked in this position for decades until he officially retired in 1985.
Although Wei Laiguo was a famous "sharpshooter" in the Eighth Route Army, when he saw these divine dramas today, he would often be angry, and he thought that some plots were too bloody and did not conform to historical conditions, which was disrespectful to history.
epilogue:
In 2014, the "sharpshooter" Wei Laiguo passed away, and since then there has been one less excellent "sharpshooter" in the world, but his name will be remembered forever.
