The heroic deeds of revolutionary martyr Zhao Yiman must be known to many people. She is a famous anti-Japanese hero in China and the former political commissar of the Second Regiment of the Third Army of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Federation. Zhao Yiman fought against the Japanese army for many years in the northeast between the white mountains and black waters. Later, during a battle, he was unfortunately arrested.
In the prison of the Japanese army, Zhao Yiman faced all kinds of torture by the Japanese army, regarded death as a homecoming, was unyielding, and always kept the secrets of the party. Because the Japanese army did not receive any information from Zhao Yiman, on August 2, 1936, he was killed in Zhuhe County, Harbin, at the age of 31. So, what kind of torture was Zhao Yiman subjected to in the prison of the Japanese army?
In the 1950s, a Japanese war criminal Who had personally interrogated Zhao Yiman, Yasuharu Ono, told some details about the interrogation of Zhao Yiman at that time.
At the end of 1935, Zhao Yiman was unfortunately captured by the Japanese army in order to support his comrades in retreat during the battle, according to Taiji Ohno's recollection. At that time, Zhao Yiman had gunshot wounds on his wrists and thighs and was already dying. But in order to get useful information from her, he whipped Zhao Yiman's wound with a whip and interrogated him for more than two hours, but Zhao Yiman never revealed any secrets. In order to obtain the secret of Zhao Yiman's body, a few days later, Zhao Yiman was sent to the Harbin Police Department to further torture her to extract a confession. Here, Zhao Yiman suffered more torture, and the Japanese army twisted with his hands and whipped Zhao Yiman's wound with a wooden stick. Zhao Yiman fainted many times because of the severe pain.
But even so, Zhao Yiman never said a word. After more than ten days of torture by the Police Department to extract a confession, Zhao Yiman's injuries became more and more serious, and his life would be in danger at any time. In order to achieve its goal, the Japanese army sent Zhao Yiman to the hospital for treatment. While in the hospital, Zhao Yiman conducted patriotic education for the nurses and pseudo-policemen guarding her, and finally, with their help, Zhao Yiman escaped from prison.
Unfortunately, in June of the following year after escaping, Zhao Yiman was once again captured by the Japanese army on his way to the guerrilla zone. This time, the Japanese army used pepper water, electrocution and other torture on her, but Zhao Yiman was always unyielding and kept secrets. In the end, Taiji Ohno brutally killed Zhao Yiman on the grounds that he had no use value.
Yasuharu Ohno was arrested in 1950 and later released early in 1963 under the education of the Chinese government.
