Luohe Resistance: Why did the devil "burn the old ying"? Why were you scared away when you slaughtered the village?

author:Cultural Luohe

"Burning Lao Ying" is one of the heinous crimes committed by Japanese devils in Luohe.

On the morning of May 11, 1945, farmers were busy beating wheat in the wheat field in Laoying Village, Luohe County. At this time, two Japanese soldiers with guns came from the path of Maima, one of whom turned towards Xiaoying Village, and the other went straight to the wheat field of Laoying Village. Working in the wheat field, there was a young daughter-in-law who had just passed through the door, dressed relatively brightly, and the ghost soldier saw it at a glance, and "twittering and waah" rushed straight over, frightening the young daughter-in-law to turn around and run to the village with an "ah" sound, and the ghost soldier chased after the village with a gun.

At that time, there were many villagers in the wheat field, and they were all scared silly for a while, and they did not expect that the ghost soldiers were so rampant in broad daylight. The 70-year-old elder Han dun beat his chest and pointed at the Japanese devil and shouted, "This beast does not call us alive, do we still call him alive!" A word awakened the crowd. The young daughter-in-law's father-in-law, uncle and brother-in-law, and several young people in the village threw away the farm tools and quickly ran to the village.

The young daughter-in-law had just run into the house, and the ghost soldier also chased after her, and was about to break into the house, when the daughter-in-law and father-in-law who followed closely behind just arrived, and one of them hugged the ghost soldier with a gun, and then shouted, "Come, come, come." A group of young men who followed closely behind picked up hammers and shovels, split their heads and covered their faces with a greeting, and killed this ghost soldier three times five divided by two. In order not to be discovered by the devils, several people threw the killed devils and guns into the deep puddles on the edge of the village; in order to prevent the bodies from floating, they also tied half-cut stone mills to the devils.

The ghost soldier who went to Xiaoying Village to rob him could not see his accomplices, so he fired a gun to contact him, and when he saw that there was no response, he went straight to Laoying Village. At the entrance of the village, I happened to run into a few people who had finished dealing with the aftermath for the ghost, and the ghost "twittered" and asked if he had seen another ghost. A few people compared it to saying that the devil had gone somewhere else, but when he pointed the devil in the direction, he made a mistake, some pointing to the southeast, and some pointing to the northeast. As soon as the devils saw them lying, they took up their bayonets and stabbed them, and a few people turned and ran, and the devils shot again, and they jumped into the aisle and ran away. The ghost soldier did not dare to rush into the village and hurried back to report.

Sure enough, when it was almost dark, a car of Japanese soldiers drove into the village, entered the door when they saw it, beat people when they saw them, turned things over when they saw them, and tossed and turned around in the middle of the night without finding the ghost who was killed, so they had to temporarily return to the camp. Considering that the devil's soldiers would definitely come again, afraid that the devil's soldiers would find the body, several people fished out the devil's body that had sunk into the puddle overnight, threw it into the well of the wheat field in the east of the village, and filled the well with soil. After busy with these things, these men, women and children went out of the village overnight to hide.

Early the next morning, a large group of Japanese soldiers surrounded laoying village in a menacing manner, gathered all the men, women and children in the village on the wheat field, and set up machine guns around them, demanding that the villagers hand over the ghost soldier. Seeing that no one responded to the villagers, the devils took turns torturing the villagers, from morning to noon, and no one revealed the truth. At this time, with the help of the cunning traitor, the devil discovered the new soil mark of the well buried in the wheat field, so he dug the well and found the body of the devil soldier.

The Japanese devils were furious, and a torch set aside all the newly harvested wheat in the houses of Laoying Village and the wheat field, and for a time the smoke billowed and the flames soared into the sky, which could be seen more than a dozen miles away. After burning the house and the wheat, the Japanese devils did not give up, drove the villagers together, set up machine guns and prepared to kill all the villagers. The men, women and children in the wheat field cried out in the sky, knowing that they would not be able to escape death.

At this critical juncture, two Chinese warplanes flew from the south, circling low around the village and the wheat field. After a while, several more Chinese fighter planes flew in and hovered low. It is estimated that the Chinese reconnaissance plane found that the smoke was soaring in the direction of the east of The City, came to check it out, and found that it was the devils who were doing evil, so they summoned more Chinese fighters.

The Japanese devils were shocked and knew that if they slaughtered the village, they would definitely be wiped out by all the Chinese fighters, so they hurriedly drove away in a car. Lao Ying villagers escaped the disaster.
