At the CES2022 press conference, Sony launched a total of 8K Mini LED TV Z9K, 4K Mini LED TV X95K, the A95K series with QD-OLED panel, 4K OLED TV A80K and 4K full-array backlit LCD TV X90K, but because this year's TV is equipped with cameras, the sales version of the TV name will be different, for example, XR-X95EK is equipped with a magnetic adsorption BRAVIA camera X95K.
QD-OLED: TV A95K
The A95K series OLED may be the most concerned new product this time, because it preceded the Samsung TV and launched Samsung's self-developed QD-OLED panel. At present, the OLED TV panels sold on the market are derived from LG, which uses yellow OLED and blue OLED to mix into white light, and then realizes color display through RGB filters. QD-OLED uses blue OLED to generate light, and then the light hits the quantum dot material to produce green light and blue light, achieving RGB three primary color light. According to Samsung's official statement, QD-OLED has a wider color gamut, higher brightness, and better viewing angles.
Compared with the previous generation of XR-A90J from the on-site XR-A95K, the former has a very obvious increase in brightness, and the color saturation increase is very obvious, especially for red performance, and when watching TV from the side, the picture brightness changes very little, so the color saturation is better.
