Arsenal are poised to bring in Leicester City player Yuri Tillemans, but most likely to trade this summer, when the player's contract will enter its final year.
The Goal Net reported that Arsenal were interested in Tillermans and had already negotiated a potential transfer with its agent. The two sides have discussed this in Recent Weeks at Kearney, London.
Leicester City midfielders have 18 months left in their contract and are not expected to renew their contracts with the team.
But a trade is unlikely to happen in the winter window, when the team's current owners want to keep him until the end of the season, when Arsenal believe he will be an ideal summer window option.
The interest in Tillermans helps us understand Arsenal's plans to bring in Artur from Juve on direct loan. Artur could fill the gap in midfield before the Blue Foxes midfield transfer became viable.
Tillermans remains a key player in Leicester City's squad, making 23 appearances this season, contributing six goals and three assists, and was involved in producing 15 goals last season.
Given Leicester City's ambitions for European competition, it's unlikely we'll see them sell players to another Premier League side this month.

Lyon have set conditions for a transfer from Guimarães, but Arsenal are also said to face competition from Juventus.
GFFN reports that any club interested in bringing in Guimarães this month has two options. They can pay a transfer fee of €45 million (including bonuses) or rent later, with a mandatory buyout clause of €45 million included in the rental contract.
