Paris and Marseille opened the national derby in this round, and finally beat Marseille 2-1 with goals from Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, leading Marseille by as many as 15 points in the standings. Paris are in sight to win the title this season and Kylian Mbappe continues to lead the Ligue 1 top scorers list.
Rennes lost 3-2 at home to Monaco in a strong dialogue, the Rosso Won Four straight to hit the European Zone, Lille lost 1-2 at home to Lens, Saint-Etiennes defeated Brest 2-1, and Clement, who surpassed Metz in this round, escaped from the relegation zone. Lyon hosted Bordeaux in the relegation zone at home and eventually won 6-1 to move up to eighth in the table.
In the standings after this round, Paris leads Marseille in the second place in the table by as many as 15 points after the national derby, and the championship is in sight. Rennes, who lost this round, remain in third place in the table, just two points ahead of fourth-place Nice. Monaco tied fifth-place Strasbourg on points after four consecutive wins. In the relegation zone, Saint-Etienne temporarily escaped from the relegation zone, with Clermont, Bordeaux and Metz in the bottom three of the standings.
Rennes 2-3 Monaco
A strong dialogue, Rennes hosts Monaco. Just three minutes into the opening, Hamari Traore crossed from the flank and Tate scored with a header from the centre to give Rennes a 1-0 lead at home. In the 12th minute, Wandesson inserted it on the right side of the penalty area and fired a shot into the far corner, and Monaco equalised.
In the 57th minute, Flanders' header crossed the bar to assist Ben Yeddell's one-handed shot, and Monaco countered the score. In the 77th minute, Boado's push in front of goal sent the ball in to give Monaco a 3-1 lead over Rennes. In the 92nd minute, Terrier's penalty shot helped Rennes pull back a point. In the end, Rennes lost 2-3 at home to Monaco, and Monaco won four consecutive games.
Saint-Etienne 2-1 Brest
Saint-Etienne hosts the Brest Challenge. In the 7th minute of the first half, Onola dribbled into the box and fired a low shot into the goal, and Brest countered to take a 1-0 lead. In the 13th minute, Buanga's corner assisted Kamala's header and Saint-Etienne equalised 1-1.
In the 38th minute, Buanga again used a corner kick to deliver an assist, Kamala's header was deflected twice, and Saint-Etienne reversed the score 2-1. Both teams failed in the second half, with Greens goalkeeper Bernardoni making a crucial last-minute save to help the team hold the victory and Saint-Etienne's 2-1 comeback over Brest.
Lille 1-2 Lens
Lille hosts Lens. Just three minutes into the opening, Frankowski scored unguarded and Lens made a fantastic start, leading Lille 1-0 away. In the 20th minute, Renato Sanchez's shot from a tight angle hit the upright.
In the 36th minute, Muinga scored a powerful shot into the net and Lens extended his advantage 2-0. In half-time stoppage time, Shika received an assisted header from Gegorova and Lille pulled a point back 1-2. In the 66th minute of the second half, Jăgorova's shot hit the upright and Lille missed the equaliser, eventually losing 2-1 at home to Lens.
Nice 2-1 Lorient
Nice hosts Lorient. In the first half, the two teams attacked and defended each other but did not achieve anything. In the 52nd minute, Yulian was brought down in the penalty area, the referee awarded a penalty, Andlore stepped in, and Nice led 1-0.
In the 60th minute, Laurient broke through on the left and shot from a tight angle, and Lorient equalized. In the 88th minute, Delore's header from inside the penalty area was scored twice to help Nice complete the kill. In the end, Nice narrowly defeated Lorient 2-1 at home.
Metz 1-1 Clermont
Metz and Clermont battled for relegation. In the 23rd minute of the first half, Depreville cut inside from the left and fired a low shot into the net to give Metz a 1-0 lead over Clermont. In the 36th minute, Dorso scored with a left-footed shot after getting rid of it back-to-back, and Clermont made it 1-1 metz.
In the 39th minute, Nyana was sent off for a dangerous move, and Metz was one less man to fight. Yi Bian fought again, the two teams did not rewrite the score, and the 1-1 score remained until the final whistle.
Montérier 0-0 Reims
Montpellier hosts the Reims challenge. In the 37th minute of the first half, Lance missed a great opportunity when Kajust received an inverted triangle cross from a teammate and pushed it from close range and was saved by the goalkeeper. Yi Bian fought again, neither team broke the deadlock, and the 0-0 score was maintained until the end.
Nantes 1-1 Angers
Nantes hosts Angers. In the 17th minute of the first half, Bouffard received a direct ball from Onassi and broke through the goal, giving Angers the lead. In the 26th minute, Ludovic swept through the goalpost and Nantes missed the opportunity.
In the 52nd minute, Fabio's cross from the flank was met by Koulibaly's header to equalise for Nantes. In the end, Nantes drew 1-1 at home to Angers.
Troyes 1-1 Strasbourg
Troyes host Strasbourg. Neither team achieved success in the first half. In the 51st minute, Gameiro scored but the foul was ruled invalid.
In the 55th minute, Gameiro was brought down inside the penalty area and Diallo hit a penalty to give Strasbourg a 1-0 lead. In the 84th minute, Troyes also received a penalty, and Tadieu's penalty hit equalized the score. Troyes drew 1-1 at home to Strasbourg.
Lyon 6-1 Bordeaux
Lyon hosts bordeaux. In the opening 9th minute, Moussa Dembele scored a goal that was ruled invalid due to offside. In the 19th minute, Gusto assisted Moussa Dembele's header to give Lyon a 1-0 lead over Bordeaux.
In the 26th minute, Bordeaux goalkeeper Poussin made a mistake and Ekambi seized the opportunity to head the ball and Lyon made bordeaux 2-0. In the 33rd minute, Paqueta scored to give Lyon a 3-0 lead over Bordeaux in the first half. In the 46th minute, Faivre scored a shot that made Lyon 4-0 Bordeaux.
In the 67th minute, Ekambi faced the goalkeeper with a single knife and calmly picked out the goal, Lyon 5-0 Bordeaux. In the 84th minute, Secu Mara scored a penalty to recover a point for Bordeaux. In the 91st minute, Moussa Dembele scored twice inside the penalty area to give Lyon a 6-1 win over Bordeaux.
Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 Marseille
The final focus of this round, paris and Marseille, the top two in the standings, opened a national derby for the championship. In the 11th minute of the first half, Verratti crossed a long pass from the top and Neymar volleyed into the box to break the goal. In the 30th minute, Caleta Carr stabbed in the corner and Marseille equalised.
In the 40th minute, Messi scored a goal that was invalidated by the offside of assist Nuno Mendez in the first goal. In the first minute of first-half stoppage time, Messi single-handedly scored because the offside was also blown to nullity. In the third minute of first-half stoppage time, a handball was fouled in the Marseille penalty area, the referee awarded a penalty, Mbappe took the lead, and Paris led 2-1.
In the 78th minute, Mbappe scored a goal that was invalidated for offside. In the 85th minute, Saliba's attacking goal from a set-piece was also invalidated for offside. In the end, Paris narrowly defeated Marseille 2-1 at home, extending the lead to 15 points.
