In the third round of the 2021-22 FA Cup, Leicester City beat Watford 4-1 at home. There was a rare scene in the game, when the lights on the pitch suddenly went out and lasted for 6 minutes.

In the 2020-21 FA Cup final, Tillermans' long-range shot helped Leicester City beat Chelsea, winning the FA Cup for the first time in team history, breaking the spell of never winning in the 4 finals.
As defending champions, Leicester City had poor signings, drawing Watford, who were also Premier League side, in their first appearance in the third round. However, it also allowed the old coach Ranieri to return to the Royal Power Stadium, back to the lucky place where he led the team to win the Premier League title.
Coincidentally, Leicester City's first goal in this season's FA Cup was also scored by Tillermans. However, much of the credit for this goal goes to Westergao, who was pulled down by his opponents in the penalty area and won a penalty for Leicester City.
After scoring penalties, Tillermans has scored six goals in his last seven FA Cup games, scoring four goals and two assists.
Leicester City and Watford are both teams that have been greatly affected by the African Cup of Nations, and since there is no center forward available, Rogers asked Lockman to play a pseudo-center, and the result was miraculous. It was Lukeman's assist that allowed Madison to single-handedly shoot at goal.
Madison has been in excellent form this season, having scored 14 goals in all competitions, scoring eight goals and delivering six assists, topping the list of English players at Premier League clubs.
After conceding two goals in a row, the Hornets finally woke up from a dream, and two minutes later, relying on the coincidence of three forwards to score a goal, Joao Pedro picked out a shot to recover a point for Watford.
Not only were Leicester City scored by their opponents, Campbell also narrowly left the field red from two fouls in four minutes, but fortunately, referee Mike Dean was merciful and did not show Campbell a second yellow card. After half-time, Rogers replaced Campbell.
Watford pounced in the second half, but Leicester City used a counter-attack to extend the score again in the 56th minute. Lukeman crossed from the right and Barnes swept the ball. Due to Barnes' suspicion of offside, Dean did not award the goal effective at first, and after the video assistant referee confirmed that it was not offside, Dean finally declared the goal valid.
Interestingly, during the Watford substitution, the lights went out on the pitch and the game was suspended for a time. After 6 minutes in the dark, the lights finally came on and the game resumed. This upset Ranieri, constantly reminding Dean to see the delayed time, and the players even had to warm up to stay in shape.
Despite trailing by two goals, Watford were scrappy and Pedro hit the crossbar with a powerful shot in the 71st minute. In the final moments, Albrighton scored a goal to seal the win for Leicester City.
With a win in 'Darkness', Leicester City opened the way to defend their title in this way, while Watford became the second Premier League team to be eliminated in the third round.
