General Chen Geng made great contributions to the revolutionary history of our country and paid his life's work for the victory of the revolution, and the saddest person was Fu Ya, the wife of General Chen Geng.
However, in 1992, 31 years after the death of General Chen Geng, his wife Fu Ya, despite the persuasion and obstruction of her family, was bent on going to Taiwan. Why does the 74-year-old Fu Ya have such an obsession with Taiwan?
General Chen Geng joined the revolution
Chen Geng was born in 1903 in Xiangxiang, Hunan Province, to a family of soldiers, the son of a general in the Xiang Army. Chen Geng, who was influenced by his family, wanted to become a soldier from a young age to lead soldiers to fight and gallop on the battlefield.
He joined the Communist Party at the age of 19 and went to study at the Whampoa Military Academy, because Chiang Kai-shek was very fond of Whampoa graduates. So Chen Geng served under Chiang Kai-shek for a period of time, and saved Chiang Kai-shek's life in a war.
Chen Geng had known about major state affairs since he had participated in the war for several years, and he opposed chiang kai-shek's ideas. At the age of 23, he went to the Soviet Union to study and was exposed to the most advanced ideas in the world. After returning to China the following year, he participated in the Nanchang Uprising and then joined the Red Army.
Next, Chen Geng participated in several battles, and his combat style was very strong, with a momentum of not giving in. Due to the misfortune of being hit by a stray bullet in a war, in order to better heal Chen Geng, the organization transferred him to Shanghai for treatment.
The year after Chen Geng was treated in Shanghai, he was arrested by the Kuomintang. Then Chiang Kai-shek personally received him, saying that he admired Chen Geng very much and reminded Chen Geng to clearly understand the situation and make a good choice. Chen Geng was not cold to Chiang Kai-shek, and allowing him to coerce and induce him was not to bow his head, and Chiang Kai-shek could only descend and first lock Chen Geng up, and later was rescued by the organization and the mother of the country, Soong Ching-ling.
Next, Chen Geng participated in the Long March, and began to negotiate with the enemy for the victory of the revolution. In the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Chen Geng even unleashed his fists and feet, inflicting heavy losses on the Japanese army in the Taihang Mountains area. In the final civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communists, Chen Geng also defeated the troops of Hu Zongnan, the master of the king, and participated in the battle to eliminate Huang Wei's army.
After the founding of New China, Chen Geng did not take off his military uniform, and successively threw himself into the war to resist the United States and aid Korea and help Vietnam against France. Then, after the war subsided, he threw himself into the national defense construction of our country, and forgot to eat and sleep in order to develop the national strength.
The story of Chen Geng and Fu Ya
In fact, Fu Ya was Chen Geng's second wife, and Chen Geng's first wife was Wang Genying. Wang Genying was born in 1906 and is a native of Shanghai. She joined the Communist Party at the age of 19, and for the sake of the revolutionary Wang Genying, she went around propagating and mobilizing, and participated in several revolutionary actions of workers and students in Shanghai.
Because of her serious work and outstanding performance, wang genying decided to appoint her as a revolutionary representative in Shanghai, and when she was 21 years old, she received an invitation to attend the National Revolutionary Congress in Wuhan, where she met Chen Geng, who was three years older than her.
Chen Geng was in a good mood at that time, at the meeting he noticed the young and beautiful Wang Genying, after the meeting Chen Geng directly proposed to Wang Genying a request for exchanges, but did not want to provoke Wang Genying to be angry, this matter began to spread in the organization.
Since both of them were very good and had reached the age of marriage, Premier Zhou came forward to match the two people. Chen Geng was assigned by the organization to work in Shanghai for a period of time, and Wang Genying was arranged by Shanghai to assist Chen Geng in his work.
During the work, Wang Genying wholeheartedly assisted Chen Geng and made Chen Geng's work in Shanghai more effective with half the effort, and then Wang Genying and Chen Geng became husband and wife under the witness of the organization. In 1931, Chen Geng was transferred to work elsewhere, but Wang Genying continued to stay in Shanghai.
In the winter of 1939, in order to protect important political documents, Wang Genying was unfortunately surrounded by the Japanese army and died heroically after a struggle.
General Chen Geng was devastated when he had just defeated a Japanese army unit and was standing in the enemy trenches directing his work. After Chen Geng cleaned up Wang Genying's aftermath, he was unable to defend his soul every day, but Rikou was still frantically attacking.
Chen Geng put away his grief and threw himself into the War of Resistance Against Japan. In one battle, when Chen Geng launched a charge, he and a Japanese lieutenant general drew their guns and exchanged shots, Chen Geng was shot in the stomach, and the Japanese lieutenant general was killed on the spot.
After the injury, Chen Geng moved to the rear to recuperate, at this time he needed Fu Ya, who was 15 years younger than him, and Fu Ya's dignified elegance attracted Chen Geng's attention. However, his wife had just passed away, so Chen Geng was usually a Fu Ya to talk about the past of the revolution.
Unfortunately, in that era of war and chaos, Fu Ya's parents and family lost their voices in the war.
Fu Ya dutifully performed his duties for her husband
After Fu Ya and Chen Geng got married, the two did not have any differences over the issue of age. Moreover, Chen Geng and his former wife Wang Genying also have a child, and Fu Ya is better to children than to his own children. A few years later, Fu Ya gave birth to three children for Chen Geng, and the family of six lived very happily.
After the founding of New China, Chen Geng contributed ideas and suggestions for the construction of the country, and under a long period of high-intensity work, Chen Geng unfortunately died in 1961. After that, Fu Ya had to support four children and parents alone.
In addition, after the sacrifice of his first wife, Wang Genying, Chen Geng has been taking care of her mother without interruption. After Chen Geng's death, Fu Ya even took up this responsibility, serving Wang Genying's mother until her death.
In fact, when Chen Geng died, Fu Ya was only 43 years old, and she could actually find another person to live with when she was young. But she loved Chen Geng deeply, and after he left, Fu Ya only wanted to raise the child and do what he did not finish for Chen Geng.
In 1987, Taiwan and the mainland of China resumed normal relations, allowing many people to reunite with their families.
After fu Yatuo inquired for several years, he heard others say that his brothers and sisters were still in Taiwan, but his parents had already died. In 1992, 74-year-old Fu Ya went to Taiwan to find his relatives despite his children's obstruction, because his parents' last wish was to bury himself in his hometown.
Fu Ya was unable to observe filial piety while his parents were alive, and now he must fulfill his parents' wishes. After fu ya returned from Taiwan, he buried the ashes of his parents in his hometown.
