Fu Ya's father was also a reader and served as a master in his early years. At that time, the master's salary was not bad, but due to the excessive number of children born, the family's life was also very poor.
The Fu family had a total of more than a dozen children, and Fu Ya was the eldest of the daughters. According to previous experience, their children should be sent to school, but she has reached the age of school, but she still has to stay at home to help her mother embroider flowers, make shoes, and take care of her younger siblings.
The young Fu Ya watched his brothers carry their bags and walk into the campus, feeling helpless and aggrieved, but the family's low income really could not afford the tuition fees of one more person. For this reason, Fu Ya often secretly wept at night.
Seeing her daughter so sad, the mother was extremely distressed. After some deliberation, she summoned the children to the front and told them that whoever could do the prescribed work was qualified to go to school.
In this way, Fu Ya finally had the hope of going to school, she got up early every day and worked greedily, and finally got the opportunity to go to school. The hardships of studying made her more aware of the preciousness of books, so she worked harder than everyone else.
From an early age, the good upbringing allowed this girl to have a kind heart while being serious, to remember the difficulties of the people around her, and she would actively participate in various student patriotic activities in addition to studying, and make her own contribution to the revolutionary cause.

"After the outbreak, the all-out anti-Japanese campaign was officially launched, and the people were living in the depths of the water. This year, 19-year-old Fu Ya just graduated from the private Oriental Middle School in Nanjing, and the red seeds that saw the painful faces of the people, participated in the revolution, and changed the status quo of society slowly sprouted in her heart.
In 1938, Fu Sen, who had devoted himself to the revolutionary cause, wrote a letter home, calling on his family to join the revolution and defend the country. Fu Ya looked at the letter, the red seed in her heart had grown into a towering tree, and she decided not to wait any longer and immediately went to Yan'an.
After some preparations, Fu Ya ignored the persuasion of his elders and insisted on leading his younger siblings with common beliefs to Yan'an and enter the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University to study. There, he received the ideological transformation of the party, as well as cultural influence.
The Anti-Japanese Military and Political University is the cradle of countless revolutionaries and the holy land to which countless enthusiastic young people yearn, and those years of study gave Fu Ya a deeper understanding of the revolution and the War of Resistance Against Japan.
As a fourth-term student at the school, Fu Ya soon graduated with honors. After graduation, he accepted instructions from his superiors and entered the Kang Da General Political Corps as an accountant and secretary of the cultural troupe. During her work, she has been conscientiously completing the tasks assigned to her by her superiors, and she did not dare to relax for a moment, which is why she became a glorious member of the Chinese Communist Party the following year.

Fu Ya's acquaintance with Chen Geng was also a coincidence.
One day in 1940, Fu Ya's literary troupe was instructed to perform on the front line of the battle. After receiving the task, the group came to Panlong Town, Wuxiang County, Shaanxi Province. The general has a heroic personality, and seems to be able to mingle with everyone at any time and anywhere, talking and laughing together, and being unrestrained. Even if he mentioned the bloody war before, he could maintain a calm attitude, and even humorously talked about his state of mind at that time. No wonder Marshal Chen Yi once said that Chen Geng is like a piece of transparent glass, which can be easily seen inside and out, like a magnet, and humor and humor can gather people's hearts.
Later, General Chen Geng accidentally suffered from wind and cold, and returned to the rear again to recuperate. During the break, he went to see Wang Zhitao. As soon as they saw each other, Wang Zhitao asked about Chen Geng's current situation, and the general patted his body and said:
"I'm doing pretty well now, I have a gun, I have a horse, I have a guard, and the only thing I can't do is go home alone, without someone who knows the cold and the heat to accompany me."
Chen Geng and his ex-wife met in 1927, and it has been more than a dozen spring and autumn since then, and the relationship between the two has always been good. Unfortunately, in an event on March 8, 1939, Wang Genying's unit was raided by the Japanese army, in order to retrieve the official documents and satchels left behind, Wang Genying was unfortunately discovered by the enemy, and the hero died in the War of Resistance, that year, she was only 33 years old.

Fu Ya did not know the ultimate purpose of this dinner, but Chen Geng vaguely understood the thoughts of their husband and wife, and with the mentality of trying it out, the general also went to the appointment.
At Wang Zhitao's house, Fu Ya and Chen Geng formally met, the man was dignified, the woman was gentle and lovely, and after the real meeting, both of them had a good feeling for each other.

Only later, Fu Ya felt the call of the revolution and came to Yan'an to study, while his cousin stayed in Chongqing to continue his studies.
As the domestic situation became more and more tense, Fu Ya sent letters to his cousin several times, inviting him to come to Yan'an to join him in the revolution, but for some reason, Fu Ya never received a reply from his cousin. Over time, the relationship between the two has not been broken, but their thoughts have been different.
The main reason why she told Chen Geng about this matter was that she did not want to delay him.
Chen Geng's heart was not small because of these words, but his face did not move:
"It sounds like your cousin is still a young man with lofty ideals, but now the war is severe and the communication is not smooth."
Immediately after, he added:
"It's also important to choose the object of the other person's political direction and the path to be taken in the future."
Although he was a little sad, Fu Ya still took the general's words to heart, and after a while, his cousin finally wrote her a reply letter. In the letter, his cousin wrote that Yan'an's scientific and technological level is too backward to support his scientific research, so he will not go to Yan'an, and more importantly, he also said at the end that scientists do not ask about politics, whether it is the Kuomintang or the Communist Party, it does not matter to him.
These words stung Fu Ya's heart, and she finally made up her mind:
"It seems that Brigadier Chen's words are correct, and the same political direction is very important for the husband and wife, so let's go our separate ways!"
After abandoning this marriage contract, Fu Ya returned to being single, and soon after, she came together with Chen Geng under the mediation of everyone. Of course, the two did not get married quickly, as mentioned above, General Chen Geng still had to guard the funeral for his wife for three years, and Fu Ya also had to be mentally prepared for marriage. As a result, the marriage of the two dragged on for three years.
The two didn't have much time together during the revolutionary period, but countless reunions quickly heated up their feelings.
Just when the relationship between the two gradually stabilized and they decided to get married, the central government issued an order:
Chen Geng could not establish a relationship with Fu Ya, and her family was somewhat complicated.
Letters from the party organization struck Chen Gengru by lightning, how could a little girl who came to Yan'an in 1939 to participate in revolutionary work have a complicated family? Asked why, it turned out that her brother's situation was somewhat complicated.
The doubts have been solved, but the marriage between the two is still unable to be completed, and Chen Geng and Fu Ya can only devote themselves to work with a sad heart.
One day after the battle of the Hundred Regiments, the 129th Division of the Eighth Route Army held a mobilization meeting for the whole, which happened to be the birthday of Liu Bocheng, the commander of the division. In order to celebrate this period of time, Chen Geng contacted Luo Ruiqing, director of the Political Department of the Kang Da, and invited the members of the cultural and labor troupe to come to the army to perform.

After all, the party organization was a wise organization, and after understanding the situation, it once again investigated Fu Ya's situation, and after some thought, it agreed to the matter.
In early February 1943, Chen Geng received a telegram from the Central Committee, organizing and agreeing to the marriage between the two, and he immediately called Fu Ya and said excitedly:
"Fu Ya, I am Chen Geng, we can get married, the Party Central Committee has agreed to our marriage, you come back soon!"
Fu Ya was performing outside at the time, and when he heard the news, he was so happy that he wanted to cry, and after a while, he barely calmed down. Considering that the work was not yet completed, she told Chen Geng on the phone:
"My performance here is not over yet, we will talk about things later."
However, Chen Geng, who had been waiting for this news for a long time, could no longer bear it, he very much wanted to see Fu Ya immediately, and his strong excitement made him not even hear the task given by the division commander.

Since then, the two have finally married, and everyone is happy for them. However, due to work, the two still get together less and leave more after they get married. Of course, it may be because the love of both parties for each other is strong enough that even if they are in that state, they still have a harmonious relationship and a happy emotional life.
Fu Ya was a very thoughtful girl, and the purpose of her coming to Yan'an was to pursue her dreams, so Chen Geng made an agreement with her before marriage:
First, Chen Geng will respect her revolutionary cause and will not stop her from pursuing progress;
Second, Chen Geng would not transfer Fu Ya to his side to do secretarial work;
Third, Chen Geng will love Fu Ya forever, which is a sincere admiration.
After getting married, Chen Geng has always kept this promise.

For a while, the party organization demanded rectification, and both Chen Geng and Fu Ya returned to Yan'an to actively cooperate with this work. After returning home, the troops divided the cadres, and senior cadres entered the party school to study, such as Chen Geng. Fu Ya's rank had not yet reached that point, and he was assigned to the second department of the Party School.
The first and second parts were separated by the Yan'an River, and it took a long time to cross the river; Fu Ya participated in many tasks in the second department of the party school, such as following Xian Xinghai to carry out the reform of yangge, etc., and he could not go home when he was busy. When Chen Geng thought of her, he would run to the Yan'an River with a bunch of friends, of course, when he made such a mess, he would not take the soldiers with him, and all the classmates he brought were cadres of the same level as him. The crowd shouted in unison by the river:
"Fu Ya went home!"
Over time, Fu Ya became famous in the school, and comrades knew that General Chen Geng would call out to his wife across the river.
Every time at this time, Fu Ya would always be blushed by the eyes of everyone, and when he returned home, he couldn't help but be angry with Chen Geng, but Chen Geng had always enjoyed it!
In 1950, Fu Ya and Chen Geng gave birth to the eldest of the two children, a full eight pounds, because Chen Geng liked children, after which they gave birth to a number of children, every time they went home, Chen Geng always had to hug the children, with a beard to prick their faces, the children also liked this activity, often called him "bearded father." ”
In 1959, the central authorities called on cadres to exercise at the grass-roots level, and Fu Ya was very moved when he heard about it.
She went home and asked Chen Geng for her opinion:
"I have been working in the central government for many years, and now that your health has improved, do you agree that I will exercise at the grassroots level?"
Chen Geng listened to this and said without hesitation:
"When we got married, we said, I won't interfere with your work, and I support you at the grassroots level."
In fact, at that time, Chen Geng's health was not very good, and there was a risk of a recurrence of myocardial infarction at any time, but he still supported his wife's decision.
A friend advised him:
"You're not in good health now, so transfer Fu Ya to the office to take care of you!"
Chen Geng refused.
The trauma of the revolutionary period left many hidden dangers for Chen Geng's body, and soon after, the general was once again admitted to the hospital.
On March 16, 1961, Chen Geng was lying pale on the hospital bed, the former general was terriblely weak at this moment, and he had a premonition that he was about to die. Before his death, the most reassuring thing for him was his wife and children.
He called Fu Ya to the bed and said to her:
"I have two things to tell you, but I'm afraid you won't be able to stand it. First, I'm dying! Second, you're having a bad time with menopause! ”
With this said, Chen Geng forced out a smiling face as usual, but his teeth clenched:
"Your hair will turn white!"
Fu Ya knew that he wanted to make himself happy, and she also wanted to squeeze out a smile, but the tears fell involuntarily.
This appearance of his wife made Chen Geng extremely distressed, and he said to his wife in a weak voice:
"Why don't you look at me?"
This was also the last sentence that the general took the trouble to utter, after which the legendary Chinese general closed his eyes forever at the age of 58.
After the death of her husband, Fu Ya's life still needed to go on, and they still had several children that she needed to take care of, the youngest of whom was only 5 years old at the time.
After Chen Geng died, Fu Ya's heart was in pain, and in the initial stage, she was not even willing to return home. In her heart, the house they lived in belonged to the army, and it was borrowed from them by Chen Geng's merits, and she did not have such a high merit and could not live in such a good house.
After learning of this situation, Luo Ruiqing slammed her down, which made her move back.
Back at his former residence, in addition to taking care of his own children, Fu Ya's most common job was to sort out her husband's relics, especially Chen Geng's diary.
Those diaries were all prepared by Fu Ya for Chen Geng, and whenever General Chen Geng needed to go out on a campaign, Fu Ya would hand him a diary, most of them wrapped in military cloth or rough linen. Chen Geng took a new copy out, and when he returned, he always remembered man dengdeng, and then handed it over to Fu Ya for safekeeping. These things have always been well preserved, and never allowed others to move around casually.
In her later years, Fu Ya had the heart to write a biography of her husband, and in order to write this well, she always took Mu Xin, the former editor-in-chief of Guangming Daily, out to interview, and the interviewees were all comrades-in-arms of General Chen Geng. She carried a small tape recorder with her, interviewed door to door, and finally took the tape recorder home and sorted out the information word by word, and the information that was sorted out was a treasure of China.
This heart also gave her wonderful results, and in 1982, Chen Geng's Diary was published.
In addition to this career, Fu Ya also educated all his children to become talents, Chen Geng's eldest son became a senior engineer of the Ministry of Aerospace, their three sons were awarded the rank of major general, and the only daughter was the chief physician and professor of the 301 Hospital of the People's Liberation Army.
Life was so happy, Fu Ya was very satisfied, but she always had a regret in her heart - she had not seen her family for decades.
Get in touch with your family
In 1980, Fu Ya received a letter from his sister, whose parents died in Taiwan, and whose greatest wish was to bury his ashes in his hometown.
After some preparations, the little sister of the Fu family returned to the mainland in Taiwan, still carrying the ashes of her parents with her. Later, Fu Ya buried the two old men in his hometown in Hangzhou, fulfilling his family's last wishes.
In 1992, Fu Ya retired from her unit, and knowing that she did not have much time, she made up her mind to go to Taiwan to visit her relatives.
After some time, Fu Ya and his sister boarded a plane to Hong Kong and then departed from Hong Kong for Taiwan.

Her family missed her and invited her to live in her home, and the juniors loved to talk to her. However, when we get together, we always encounter parting. Time is like a white colt passing through the gap, in the blink of an eye it is time to return to the mainland, thinking of her unwilling heart, she bid farewell to her relatives and embarked on the journey of return.
On December 15, 2008, a two-way direct route was opened on the north shore of the Taiwan Strait, and since then, residents on both sides of the strait can finally easily see their loved ones. Fu Ya died on January 4, 2010, and presumably fu Ya and his relatives should have seen each other frequently during that more than a year.
