When Shi Nai'an's descendants discovered Wu Dalang's tomb, why did they write a letter to apologize? Turns out we've all been lied to!
Located in Qinghe County, Hebei Province, this ancient tomb was not only discovered in 1996, and the existence of this tomb was known for a long time. According to locals, the owner of this ancient tomb was Ling Wuzhi of Yanggu County during the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, and in this ancient tomb, in addition to him, his wife Pan Shi was buried with him.

During the Northern Song Dynasty (also said to be during the reign of Emperor Yuanrenzong), there were indeed two people, Wu Dalang and Pan Jinlian, one living in Kong Songzhuang (now called Wujiana Village) in Qinghe County, Hebei Province, and one living in Jinzhuang (formerly called Panjiazhuang, but later insulted and renamed Jinzhuang). Wu Dalang's real name is Wu Zhi, the character Tian Ling, because of the ranking of the boss, so called "Wu Da Lang". Da Lang is at least one meter seven or more tall, and his appearance is not bad. Later, he took the imperial examination, won the Jinshi, and was appointed by the emperor as the Order of Qipin County, Yanggu County, Shandong.
At that time, his friend Huang Tang was penniless because his home was burned, but he had to rush to the exam to make a living, so he could only go to the door to ask Wu Dalang for it, but he was turned away. Therefore, Huang Tang held a grudge in his heart, spread rumors everywhere, slandered the image of the two, and portrayed the ugly face of Pan Jinlian who had lost her feminine morality and was at odds with others. But who knew that when Huang Tang returned home, Wu Dalang had already delivered the silver to the door. Unfortunately, the rumors have already spread so well that there is no way to control them.
During the reconstruction of Wu Zhi's tomb, the remains of Wu Zhi were found, and a leg bone was amputated. According to the length of the leg bones, it was deduced that The height of Takeshi was more than one meter and eight. Wu Zhi should be a very burly person, should be very similar to Wu Song, not at all like the "Water Margin" said, Wu Dalang is a "three-inch nail" dwarf. Some people say that because of the discovery of Wu Zhi's tomb, the height of Wu Dalang was obtained, which confirmed that Wu Dalang was not as Shi Nai'an wrote. Therefore, when Shi Nai'an's descendants learned of the news, they wrote a letter to apologize to the descendants of the Wu clan.
