He is the former vice minister of water conservancy and electric power, the first president of hitchhiker Comrade Feng Zhongyun, Feng Zhongyun was born in 1908 in Wujin County, Jiangsu Province, Yuxiang Town, a small staff family, how to say it, the family living conditions are not very poor, but also suffered a lot of unfair treatment, with the support of his father, from childhood to receive a good cultural education, and in the chaotic era, but also let Feng Zhongyun more deeply understand the necessity of struggle.
And Feng Zhongyun formally accepted our party's revolutionary ideas, that was when he was studying at the private Huilan Middle School in Zhejiang, when Feng Zhongyun knew a large number of progressive people and read many progressive books and periodicals, so Feng Zhongyun began to have revolutionary beliefs, he believed that if the poor wanted to get rid of oppression, they must stand up and fight with them.
Later, in the May Thirtieth Massacre, Feng Zhongyun also participated in the student movement with patriotic students and vigorously accused imperialism of barbarism.
In addition, Feng Zhongyun's academic performance is indeed very outstanding, and later he was successfully admitted to the Department of Mathematics of Tsinghua University, and it was when he was studying at Tsinghua University that Feng Zhongyun met a very famous teacher, that is, Professor Qinglai.
However, Feng Zhongyun joined the Communist Party in 1927, a year of great chaos in the country, when Chiang Kai-shek launched a counter-revolutionary coup and then wantonly killed a large number of comrades of our Party, which can be said to have caused great losses to the strength of our Party; moreover, Comrade Li Dazhao was tragically killed by Zhang Zuolin.
However, what he did not expect was that under the circumstance that many Communist Party members were all in danger, Feng Zhongyun chose to join the Communist Party, and this perseverance and courage were undoubtedly extremely admirable.
In addition, Feng Zhongyun also suffered many setbacks in the revolution, was arrested by Yan Xishan's troops, and then Feng Zhongyun suffered great torture in prison, but even so, what? Feng Zhongyun was not afraid at all, but on the contrary, he strengthened his revolutionary conviction even more.
After the outbreak of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Feng Zhongyun was successively appointed as the propaganda director of the Provincial Party Committee of Northern Manchuria, the chief of the intelligence section and political instructor of the Northeast Anti-Japanese Coalition Camp Teaching Brigade, and during this period, he also led the troops to fight against the Japanese army and won many victories.
In 1949, before the liberation of the whole country, Feng Zhongyun was appointed to a very important position, that is, to serve as the president of Harbin Institute of Technology, which is also commonly known as Harbin Institute of Technology, which is a key university in our new China, formerly known as the Harbin Sino-Russian Industrial School.
In the beginning, the orphans of so many revolutionary fighters who sacrificed for the new China were arranged here, and indeed as the president of HARBIN, Feng Zhongyun's responsibility was still very heavy, because he shouldered the responsibility of cultivating martyrs' orphans.
After that, Feng Zhongyun also held other positions, such as the director of the Beijing Library, the vice minister of the Ministry of Water Resources and Electric Power, the head of the China Hydraulic Society, and so on.
He died on March 17, 1968, and Feng Zhongyun, former vice minister of water resources and electric power, died at the age of 60.
