The anti-Japanese hero killed more than 30 Japanese troops, but after the war, they were "shot and killed" by the guards

Between 1931 and 1945, anyone who participated in the War of Resistance Against Japan was given the title of "hero." Because the War of Resistance Against Japan is closely related to the fate of China. Without the 14-year War of Resistance Against Japan, whether China existed or not would have been unknown. The lyrics of the March of the Volunteers read:

Get up! People who don't want to be slaves! Build our flesh and blood into our new Great Wall! When the Chinese nation reached the most dangerous time, everyone was forced to issue a final roar. ”

The anti-Japanese hero killed more than 30 Japanese troops, but after the war, they were "shot and killed" by the guards

In the past 14 years, China has produced countless anti-Japanese heroes, some of whom fell on the battlefield and became martyrs, and some of whom lived to the founding of New China. But there was one man who, inexplicably, died at the hands of his own guards, and died too unworthy. What's going on here?

Ouyang Boping, a native of Pingjiang, Hunan, born in 1912, joined the Workers' and Peasants' Red Army in his early years and successively served as a battalion commander.

After experiencing the 25,000-mile Long March, he belonged to the earlier batch of Chinese Communists. During the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, Ouyang Poping studied cultural and military knowledge at the Anti-Japanese Military and Political University in Yan'an. After graduating with excellent results, Ouyang Boping was ordered by his superiors to go to Pingxi (i.e., with hundreds of Red Army soldiers and graduates of the Kang Da University of the same school

Shidu Village South, Shidu Town, Fangshan District, Beijing)

During his time in Pingxi, Ouyang Boping served as the chief of the military education section of the Jirecha Marching Army's accompanying camp school, responsible for counseling, cultivating, and improving the military and cultural qualities of comrades. After a period of time, Ouyang Boping was noticed by the superior leaders with a good performance, entrusted with a heavy responsibility, and specially transferred him to the 12th Regiment of the 13th Military Sub-district of the Jin-Cha-Ji Military Region as the post of chief of staff. After the death of Yang Zuolin, the commander of the 1st Battalion of the 12th Regiment, Ouyang Boping served part-time as the commander of the 1st Battalion, responsible for front-line combat tasks.

One day, under the command of Ouyang Boping, battalion commander and regimental chief of staff, the 12th Regiment marched from The Dry River Grass in Luanzhou to the river beach on the west bank of Luanzhou, prepared to cross the Luan River in the east, and moved to the northern area of Qian'an City, carrying out an important task: To cooperate with local forces and open up a new anti-Japanese base area in Luandong. In order to quickly reach the destination, Ouyang Boping gave the warriors a stern order: "It is forbidden to rest and eat, to cross the river overnight, and to enter the Luandong camp before dawn." ”

Since the county seat of Qian'an was full of strongholds and artillery towers, the troops moved their garrisons as much as possible every day to avoid being surrounded and attacked by the enemy. In August 1945, the 1st Battalion and Ouyang Boping were transferred to the area around Pengjiawa in the third general district of Qianqingping. The parts of the first battalion were scattered, with 1 company in Beidaiying, 2 companies in Gusongzhuang, and 3 companies in Nandaiying; the battalion headquarters and 1 company were in the same area, in an abandoned house in Beidaiying. Ouyang Boping warned the comrades of the battalion headquarters and the 1st Company to camp outside the village to rest and not to enter the village to disturb the people. However, the local people took the initiative to "attack" to "disturb" the Eighth Route Army.

Hearing that the Eighth Route Army had come to garrison near their villages, the villagers invariably came to the Eighth Route Army garrison, some bringing millet, some sending eggs, and some carrying a basket of vegetables. This made Ouyang Poping a little "happy and troubled", he helplessly shook the rough hand of an old lady, and said sincerely: "Big Lady, you are not easy!" We're fine, even if we're hungry for a few meals. I have received your kindness, take it back and eat it yourself. ”

The eldest lady looked unhappy and said, "What do you say, this is okay!" I don't have the strength to fight the devils, and how to protect us! Listen to me, take it. How Ouyang Boping persuaded the villagers did not work, insisting on leaving things behind. Ouyang Poping bowed excitedly and said, "Big Lady, thank you, thank you folks." After the eldest lady left, the accompanying village cadre told Ouyang Boping: "This old man's ideological consciousness is very high, and the regional secretary usually stays at her house when he comes to carry out his work." ”

After the villagers all left, Ouyang Boping did not stop to rest, nor did he go to see the soldiers practicing, but personally led some comrades to soak in lime. What does bubble lime do? Paint anti-Japanese slogans on the walls. "The whole people are united. Expel Japanese imperialism from China! "Firm walls clear the wilderness, don't give the devils a traitor!" It is said that everyone brushes and writes slogans together, in fact, it is mainly Ouyang Poping who writes it alone, and others help lay hands. Most of the onlookers had never read a book, and when they saw Ouyang Poping's words, they still shouted: "It's so beautiful, it has momentum." Words are as beautiful as the battalion commanders. ”

Ouyang Boping smiled and said modestly, "I don't mean anything about this word, tell you, the words of Secretary Shiming of Luandong are good, then they can be called calligraphers and great talents!" At night, in the simple camp headquarters, Ouyang Boping took off his tattered cloth shoes due to a long rush march, wanting to see if he could still wear them, but he did not want to pick them up and break the soles of his shoes, and he could not wear them at all. He took out from his backpack a pair of "sneakers" that his comrades had given him and had been reluctant to wear, washed his feet in cold water, put on new shoes, and walked around under the oil lamp, looking very happy.

A few days later, Ouyang Boping summoned cadres at and above the company level and the heads of the basic cadres of the three districts to hold a military conference to study how to attack Xialuojiatun with the smallest casualties, the fastest speed, and the shortest time. At the same time, the news of the sacrifice of Shi Ming, the secretary of the three districts and the "calligrapher and great talent" mentioned by Ouyang Boping mentioned earlier, was announced. In the early morning of August 8, the weather was gloomy, and the soldiers of the Nandai camp were preparing to eat, but Ouyang Boping could not eat because he was immersed in the sadness of Shi Ming's sacrifice. Ouyang Boping was looking at the map, thinking about the specific march route of the troops to Luojiatun and the difficulties they would encounter next.

Suddenly, the scouts came to report that an enemy had set out from the Jianchang battalion and was driving along the relocation road toward our army. According to reliable intelligence, this enemy force was two squadrons of the Japanese Kwantung Army and a pseudo-Manchu crusade squadron, which entered the territory of Qian'an from the Great Wall Lengkou Pass to sweep. These Japanese soldiers were unusual, extremely ferocious and cunning, had participated in the First World War, were well trained, and were well-armed. Hearing these news, Ouyang Boping did not have a little fear in his heart, but was full of fighting spirit: "No matter what kind of Changsheng army he is, I am about to settle accounts with them." Fight hard! After beating them, they will clean up the ghosts of Luo Jiatun. ”

According to the changes in the battlefield situation, Ouyang Boping quickly redistributed and arranged combat tasks. Worthy of being the elite of the Japanese army, Ouyang Boping's troops occupied the battle opportunity and favorable terrain, but it still took several tugs-of-war and three hours of fierce fighting to take it down. Nearly 80 Japanese soldiers were killed, and a heavy machine gun, a small steel cannon, six crooked machine guns and dozens of long and short guns were captured. Among them, Ouyang Boping alone killed more than 30 enemies.

This was not the first time that Ouyang Boping had been so brave, as early as a few months ago, the 12th Regiment Licorice Grass Ambush, he led the 1st Battalion to eliminate hundreds of Japanese troops such as Sasaki Shaosa, the nephew who caused the Panjiayu Massacre in Hebei Province. In the eyes of the soldiers, Ouyang Boping was not only an excellent commander and fighter, an old Red Army experienced in hundreds of battles, but also an excellent machine gunner and sharpshooter. At noon, after the battle, after cleaning up the battlefield, the troops gathered to the Nandai camp with the captured booty. The long-awaited villagers cheered and sent various things to comfort them, helping to boil water, cook, and deal with the wounded.

Ouyang Boping stood in front of the line, grinned, and said to the people around him: "Hahahahaha, we fought a beautiful battle, and it can be regarded as revenge for Secretary Shi Ming!" After speaking, Ouyang Boping held up the military map with both hands and pondered it, studying the troops' plan to attack Luojiatun next. At this time, Ouyang Boping's guard Xiao Gao, holding a newly captured Wang Eight box (that is, a Japanese standard pistol, a southern fourteen-year 8 mm semi-automatic pistol, carrying more ammunition and backup firing pins than other ordinary pistols), seemed to want to dedicate it to Ouyang Boping.

Xiao Gao took the gun, ran to Ouyang Boping's side with a smile, and shouted: "Battalion commander, battalion commander, I have handed over a Wang Eight box gun, give it to you." Ouyang Boping, who heard the sound, raised his head and was just about to pick up the gun when he suddenly heard a gunshot of "popping", and a bullet flew out of the gun chamber and shot directly into his chest. Ouyang Boping screamed "Ah" and fell to the ground, losing consciousness, and the blood kept flowing out, quickly forming a pool of blood on the ground. When the gunshots sounded, time seemed to freeze for less than a second, and the soldiers were so shocked that they could not believe what they saw in front of them, and they quickly lifted Ouyang Boping and sent it to a villager's home for rescue.

The 1st Company looked like a mad demon, and shouted at the troop health center: "We must save him." On the other side, he hurriedly ordered the best doctor in the vicinity. When the hygienist cut open Ouyang Poping's clothes, he saw that the wound was at the heart of his chest, and the blood was gushing, and he couldn't stop it at all. The hygienist shook his head with a sad face, and could only do his best to rescue him. Inside and outside the house, a large number of warriors and villagers gathered, praying to the heavens in their hearts for Ouyang Bo's peace.

The 1st Company Commander roared, "The battalion commander must be saved!" Ouyang Boping, who was soaked with his own blood, his dark face began to turn yellow, his eyes opened slightly, and he beckoned with his remaining consciousness, signaling the 1st Company Commander to come over. The 1st Company Commander's face was full of tears, and he squeezed Ouyang Poping's hand and said sadly: "Battalion commander, battalion commander, you must stand up, hold on!" You'll be fine, it'll be fine! Ouyang Boping gasped, intermittently and painstakingly leaving his last words:

The plan to attack Luojiatun was suspended, and he quickly moved to Xiaoguan on the Great Wall with his troops and civilians.

As he spoke, Ouyang Boping's hand fell weakly. The 1st Company Commander cried bitterly: "Battalion commander, battalion commander, don't go!" When the people outside the house heard this voice, they also realized that Ouyang Boping was no longer able to do it, and the tears in his eyes could no longer be held back and flowed out. Ouyang Boping's body was wiped and cleaned many times by the warriors. The old landlord walked in on crutches, with tears in his eyes, and said in a hoarse voice to the 1st Company Commander who was dealing with the aftermath: "Bury the Ouyang battalion commander with my cornwood coffin." Before he could finish speaking, a soldier entered the house and reported that the guard Xiaogao had shot himself and was stopped after being discovered.

The 1st company commander arranged for people to look at Xiao Gao and said that he would investigate the reasons clearly and then deal with them. At noon that day, lunch was plentiful, but the soldiers could not eat a bite.

There is no written record of how xiaogao was handled. Personally, I think that Xiao Gao has a certain responsibility for Ouyang Boping's sacrifice, but it should not be intentional. Of course, some people felt that it was too bizarre, saying that the enemy had bought Xiao Gao and instructed him to kill Ouyang Boping by mistake. Ouyang Boping's death was a pity.

The sacrifices of Ouyang Boping and Shi Ming were less than a month apart, and because of their good relationship, the story of "tragic two heroes" was spread at the foot of the Great Wall. There is a mr. word splitter by the Luan River, based on the pseudonyms, battle friendships and legendary stories of the two, he made up a poem to sing:

Berlin greets the sunrise, the waves are flat; the white heads are often accompanied, the same heart is solid as a rock; the sun and the moon shine together, and the Yanshan Mountains are full of water.
