"Romance of the Three Kingdoms" is a heroic legend, wen such as Zhuge Gongjin, Wu sheng Guan Yu Zhao Yun, in order to get a place in it. Countless Haojie can only have a few words, drowned under those dazzling brilliance.
In the words "Tongue Fighting Group Confucianism", Zhuge Liang's light crushed the whole field, so that the famous scholars in Jiangdong were reduced to foils and even cannon fodder.

Among them, a man named Lu Ji was even more intimidated by Zhuge Cheng Xiang.
Seemingly inconspicuous supporting characters
When Zhuge Liang said that Cao Cao's heart was not right, and he wanted to blackmail tianzi to order the princes, Lu Ji couldn't help but retort:
"Although Cao Cao is suspected of stealing the country, he is a descendant of Xiang Guo, and his blood is pure, and your master Liu Bei said that he was a descendant of Liu Bang, but he couldn't even come up with a single piece of evidence, just a straw shoe seller, how could such a person fight against Cao Cao?"
Zhuge Liang saw that he did not argue morally, but instead made a fuss about Liu Bei's birth, so he returned the favor in the other way and began to launch personal attacks on him.
Zhuge Liang, who had a rare poisonous tongue, said dismissively to Lu Ji, "Isn't this Lu Ji, the boy who stole Yuan Shu's oranges back then?" How can you talk to us Coats? ”
A short sentence suddenly choked Lu Ji to the point of not being able to say half a word, and after this battle, he was forever nailed into the column of shame of his own inadequacy in the world of the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
Pregnant orange widow
Looking at Zhuge Liang's ridicule alone, it is difficult not to think that Lu Ji is a villain, but in fact, the so-called orange stealing incident is not only not a notoriety, but a good story that has been passed down through the ages.
Lu Ji's family conditions were very superior, his father was Lu Kang, the Taishou of Lujiang, and he could be said to have lived a fairly good life in the last years of the Eastern Han Dynasty.
When he was six years old, he and his father came to the Yuan Shu camp to meet him. Yuan Shu was talking to his father, while the young man ate the fruit on the table.
After the conversation, Lu Kang bid farewell to Yuan Shu and asked Lu Ji to salute Yuan Shu, so Lu Ji bent down and bowed to Yuan Shu, but at this moment, the three oranges hidden in his arms suddenly rolled out.
After yuan shu saw this scene, he couldn't help but wonder: "Oranges are not rare things, and the conditions in your home are not bad, how can you steal my oranges?" ”
Lu Kang was embarrassed at the side, but Lu Ji explained: "I tasted this orange very delicious, and I want to take it back to my mother to taste." ”
After hearing these words, Yuan Shu couldn't help but feel that a six-year-old child had such filial piety, so he was greatly moved. Since then, the story of Lu Ji's "orange widow" has been widely circulated.
When the story reached the Yuan Dynasty, it was also compiled into the "Twenty-Four Filial Pieties".
But for people today, the story of the "widowed orange" seems difficult to understand. Even if it is for the sake of filial piety to the mother, it is still very shameful to steal. Because from the moment you steal something, this filial piety is no longer pure.
Of course, we cannot look at the ancients in today's eyes.
The ancients attached great importance to filial piety. Regardless of their status, filial piety is regarded as the first criterion for the first evaluation of noble conduct.
Before the invention of the imperial examination system, the ancient selection of officials also generally adopted the form of filial piety. It can be seen that the ancients attached great importance to "filial piety".
There is also a story of "Guo Ju Buried" in "Twenty-Four Filial Pieties", which tells the story of a man named Guo Ju, whose family is poor and whose mother often does not have enough to eat, and he believes that it is because the birth of his son has lowered his mother's living standards, so he wants to kill his son for his mother and bury the child alive.
Later, Heaven was touched by his filial piety to his mother, so he gave him a jar of gold where he sold the child, and the child survived.
In the eyes of modern people, this story is very absurd and terrible, and there is no emotion to speak of. Even if the family is poor and unable to provide for the child and the mother, what right is there to deprive the child of life? However, the ancients generally recognized Guo Ju's behavior.
It can be seen that although there are many slots for the widows of Huai Tangerine, it should be a positive portrayal of Lu Ji. He was supposed to be a respected coat at the time.
Benevolent government and love for the people
There are also several records in the character book about Lu Ji.
A few years after the Tongue War Qunru Incident, Lu Ji also made an appearance in the Romance of the Three Kingdoms.
At that time, although Sun Ce occupied Jiangdong, he was worried that the situation was unstable, so he invited counselors to consult, including Lu Ji.
Everyone agreed that troops should be dispatched to guard the situation so that the situation could be completely stabilized, and Sun Ce felt that what they said was very reasonable, but Lu Ji on the side shook his head vigorously.
Sun Ce asked him what his high opinion was, and Lu Ji replied, "In the past, the sage Confucius served the people with virtue, and I had never heard of being able to completely surrender others by force." ”
Lu Ji's words show his yearning for benevolent government, reflect his political pursuits, and are also a small highlight of his achievements.
Legend of Lianshi
What really made Lu Ji praised by future generations was his integrity.
After Sun Ce's death, Lu Ji continued to work as an errand boy under Sun Quan. Sun Quan gave him two thousand troops and sent him to guard Yulin County, and he became the Taishou of Yulin.
During his term of office, Lu Ji actively practiced benevolent government, showed compassion for the people, and never coveted the people's needle and thread. The family has been green vegetables and white porridge all year round, living very poorly, and is a real parent official. The people of Yulin were very grateful to him.
When he finished his official term and left Yulin, lu ji had nothing to bring with him except his clothes and some books, so he only chartered a small boat. Unexpectedly, however, even with all the luggage on board, the boat was still too light to set sail.
In order to find something to press the ship, Lu Ji bought two cylinders of cheap pickles, but even this weight was still not enough.
Lu Ji had no choice but to move a large stone and put it on the boat, so that the ship could finally sail safely.
This stone has been drifting with Lu Ji all the way, and finally returned to his hometown with him. After the local people heard about the origin of the stone, they were touched by Lu Ji's incorruptibility, and moved this stone of great significance off the ship together and named it "Lian Shi".
Lu Ji's good name has also been praised to this day.
It is a pity that such a rare clean official died early in his early thirties. Otherwise, it will certainly create more merits for the people.
In order to celebrate Lu Ji's character, in 2011, a TV series with him as the protagonist, "Legend of Lianshi", came out. The 30-episode plot delicately portrays Lu Ji's short life, so that more people know him and commemorate him.
Perhaps he did not attract the attention of many people in the talented "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and has always existed as a foil, but he lives in people's memories by relying on the brilliance of human nature, although he is only a supporting role in the era of the storm.
