According to Yahoo Sports star Chris Haynes, the 76ers and the Kings have discussed the Simmons and Fox deal, but only in the exploratory stage.

According to 76ers reporter Paul Hudrick, the team has no interest in Simmons and Fox swapping, and the deal needs to be pulled into a third party.

According to Marc Stein, sources revealed that more than one opposing team believes the Kings will accept Tobias Harris' contract to facilitate Simmons' deal.

Harris' contract expires in 2024 with a salary of $36 million this season and $37.63 million and $39.27 million for the next two seasons, while Simmons' contract expires in 2025 with a salary of $33 million this season and $35.45 million, $37.89 million and $40.34 million for the next three seasons.
