Jiangnan culture is a common traditional cultural resource in the Yangtze River Delta, and the Outline of the Regional Integration Development Plan for the Yangtze River Delta proposes to "jointly build a regional cultural brand with regional characteristics such as Jiangnan culture". On the afternoon of the 14th, the "Jiangnan Cultural Blue Book" team compiled by more than 40 experts and scholars such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Tongji University, East China Normal University, Nanjing Normal University, and chinese Academy of Social Sciences released the "Jiangnan Cultural Development Index (2021)" for the first time in Suzhou Shihu Think Tank, from the clear concept, design index, and construction model from the beginning, systematically studied the development of Jiangnan culture in three provinces and one city, and also compared their short and long.
【Chinese generally feel very good about Jiangnan】
"The sunrise river flowers are red and the fire is better, and the spring river is as green as blue." Can you not remember Gangnam? "Jiangnan culture is essentially a poetic culture, not only traditional culture, but also a culture of 'living in the present.'" As the head of the research, Professor Liu Shilin, dean of the Institute of Urban Sciences of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and director of the advisory committee of Suzhou Shihu Think Tank, said that in terms of psychological feelings, Chinese generally feel good about Jiangnan, representing people's pursuit of beauty and poetic life. He believes that from the content point of view, the contemporary Jiangnan culture with the Yangtze River Delta as the spatial carrier is mainly composed of four regional cultural traditions in the Jiangnan region in history, namely the Wu culture with southern Jiangsu as the core area, the Yue culture with Hangzhou as the center, the Hui culture centered on ancient Huizhou, and the Haipai culture with modern Shanghai as the base camp.
In terms of overall structure, the framework system of the Jiangnan Cultural Development Index includes 3 first-level indicators, 9 second-level indicators and 15 third-level indicators. As the co-editor of the first Blue Book, Zhang Jian, chairman of Shihu Think Tank and vice president of Suzhou Vocational University, introduced that the index framework mainly includes: the number of world cultural heritage list and world heritage preliminary list, the number of villages selected for the list of traditional Chinese villages and national historical and cultural towns, and the number of national key cultural relics protection units.
Other specific indicators include: the number of museums with Jiangnan cultural themes, the number of Internet celebrity tourism spots with Jiangnan themes, the number of publicity documents on the official websites of relevant government departments, the number of relevant policies and planning projects issued by relevant departments of provinces and cities, the number of long-established brands, the number of traditional festivals and celebrations, the number of local restaurants, the number of selected "Chinese folk culture and art towns" and "quyi towns", the number of art performance groups, the number of Chinese arts and crafts masters, the number of national non-genetic inheritors and the number of performances.
【The source of Wuyue culture is not divided into two parts】
Jiefang Daily Shangguan News reporter learned that based on the Jiangnan cultural theory with independent intellectual property rights of the Shanghai Jiaotong University Research Institute, and its independent design, collection and construction of the "Jiangnan Cultural Development Index Database (2021)", the study calculated the overall score and ranking of the Jiangnan Cultural Development Comprehensive Index in the three provinces and one city in the Yangtze River Delta, namely: Jiangsu first, Zhejiang second, Shanghai third, Anhui fourth. "Jiangsu and Zhejiang, as the source of Wuyue culture, have been indistinguishable in the performance of Jiangnan culture since ancient times, and it is difficult to really rank the first and second." Liu Shilin said.
Overall, the development of Jiangnan culture in Shanghai is generally more balanced. Among them, the protection of Jiangnan culture is partially unbalanced, and relatively speaking, there is not much material culture protection, which has a lot to do with its own urban scope and resource endowments. However, the score in the social culture section is the highest, showing that the government agencies are more determined to revive Jiangnan culture, and the corresponding protection of humanistic culture also relies on government support.
In the early stage of development, Shanghai has made good achievements in the inheritance and utilization of Jiangnan culture with the realistic conditions of population and area ranking at the bottom of the Yangtze River Delta, indicating that Shanghai has the innate advantage of popularizing, disseminating and transforming and utilizing Jiangnan culture. Experts suggest that Shanghai's platform service function be brought into play, with the goal of promoting the high-level open development of Jiangnan culture, building a global dissemination and display center for Jiangnan culture in the Yangtze River Delta, consciously reflecting Shanghai's cultural responsibility as a socialist modern metropolis, and continuing to promote the integrated development of Shanghai culture and Jiangnan culture.
【"Jiangnan Culture" reading book can be used in local teaching materials】
As a phased result of the art project of the National Social Science Foundation, experts from the Shanghai-Suzhou Think Tank suggested in the "Jiangnan Cultural Development Research Report" that the "Jiangnan Cultural Context" project be launched to improve the publicity of jiangnan cultural brands. The dissemination of culture can not only rely on a small number of elites, but also to do a good job in cultural popularization, it is recommended to organize experts and scholars to compile the "Jiangnan culture" reading book synchronously, and incorporate it into the local teaching material system of primary and secondary schools in three provinces and one city. Use the process of teenagers learning to read, and drive adult parents to read and understand. Through the establishment of the Jiangnan Cultural Alliance of three provinces and one city, a series of influential competitions such as regional children's knowledge competitions, paintings, compositions, and storytelling can be launched at the same time to expand their brand influence and reputation in people's lives.
In addition, we should actively give play to the important role of the community in the last kilometer of the construction of "Jiangnan culture", take advantage of the characteristics of community party building and cultural construction close to the lives of the masses, and actively carry out the publicity and popularization of "Jiangnan culture" among residents. For example, through the square dance competition with Jiangnan style, the recitation competition reflecting the "Jiangnan culture", the resident photography competition, the Jiangnan costume competition, the cooking competition, etc., as well as the dialogue activities of jiangnan famous cities, famous villages, water towns and ancient towns, various cultural and entertainment activities with the theme of "the most Jiangnan" are launched in the communities of various districts and cities. On the one hand, to create a better life for residents, on the other hand, to create a well-known "Jiangnan culture" brand in a subtle way.
"The city is a city of people, and people's thoughts, concepts, behaviors and attitudes directly determine the quality and realm of the development of the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration." The research group said that jiangnan culture, which is characterized by its friendliness by nature, moderation in the world, thoughtfulness and fine work, has not only successfully handled extremely complex social contradictions and interpersonal relations in history, but also can become an important ideological and cultural resource for the governance of urban agglomerations.
