IT Home January 14 news, Today Huawei China announced that Huawei SmartDC low-carbon green data center solution was selected by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology "National Communications Industry Energy-saving Technology Product Recommendation Catalog (2021)" and "National Communications Industry Energy-saving Technology Product Application Guide and Case (2021)".

Huawei's SmartDC data center solutions include: modular UPS, intelligent lithium battery system, indirect evaporative cooling technology, and intelligent power module.

Huawei's SmartDC low-carbon green data center solution focuses on the four major reconstructions of "architecture, temperature control, operation and maintenance, and power supply" to improve the energy efficiency of data centers, and in practical applications, the average annual PUE of data centers can be reduced to 1.15.

In terms of architecture, the use of prefabricated modular approach instead of the traditional way, all core subsystem modules are factory prefabricated, live LEGO bricks quickly built, what you see is what you get, and the design PUE is the actual value.

IT House learned that the data center has innovatively adopted an indirect evaporative cooling system to replace the water cooling solution, which has achieved energy efficiency improvements. The iCooling energy efficiency optimization system reduces cooling energy consumption through digital technology and reduces PUE by 8%-15%.

Huawei said that the link efficiency of the intelligent power module solution can be increased to 97.8%, significantly reducing energy consumption, and through information technology, the inspection of people has become intelligent inspection, and passive alarms have been changed into predictive maintenance, realizing automatic driving of data center operation and maintenance, and reducing operation and maintenance costs by about 35%. At the same time, through the refinement and intelligence of asset capacity management, the resource utilization rate is effectively improved by about 20%.
