At the Saihanba National Ice Project Training Center in Chengde, Hebei Province, Zhang Zefeng inspected the operation of the venue and the guarantee of the training services of the national team athletes. Zhang Zefeng said that Chengde City has done a lot of work in the construction of the base and the training service guarantee of national team athletes, and today there are 23 days before the opening of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and Chengde City should do a good job in preparing for the closed isolation training of the foreign trainers of the national team outside the competition, and effectively ensure that the national team athletes can carry out training in absolute safety.
At Yudaokou Ranch Primary School, Zhang Zefeng inspected the construction and maintenance of the school's outdoor ice rink and visited the students' ice training. Zhang Zefeng demanded that the Yudaokou Ranch Management Area should combine the location advantages to carry out ice and snow sports activities such as ice hockey, speed skating, curling, etc., and at the same time give full play to the advantages of the base venues to cultivate young ice and snow sports talents.
In the rubber dam of the Wulie River in the urban area, Zhang Zefeng inspected the development of mass real ice and snow activities. He stressed that Chengde has a unique advantage, and it is necessary to integrate the existing ice and snow resources, carry out ice and snow activities that are popular with the masses, let more people participate in ice and snow sports, and create a strong atmosphere for the Winter Olympics.
