The second reason is a newspaper, Qian Xuesen saw a photo in the United States, in which Qian Xuesen's father's friend Chen Shutong stood on the tiananmen Tower, so Qian Xuesen asked his wife Jiang Ying to write a letter to his sister Jiang Hua who was far away in Italy.
At this time, China and the United States have held many negotiations, this time after receiving the letter, China immediately conducted a third negotiation with the United States, the purpose of this time is very simple, China threw out the final bottom card, released all the AMERICAN prisoners of war in exchange for Qian Xuesen's return, and China's chips this time do not allow the United States to refuse, so that the United States suddenly has no excuse to continue to detain Qian Xuesen, and agreed to the conditions. In September 1955, Qian Xuesen and his family embarked on a journey back to China.
