In November last year, Hengchi 5 LX appeared in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's new car declaration directory, but on December 8, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the 350th batch of road motor vehicle manufacturers and products list, the Hengchi 5 LX that was originally listed disappeared, most likely because Hengchi 5 LX failed to pass the publicity.
However, according to the previous model planning of Evergrande Automobile, Hengchi 5 is positioned as a compact SUV, and the price is expected to be below 200,000 yuan. In terms of power, Hengchi 5 is expected to be equipped with an electric motor produced by United Automotive Electronics Co., Ltd., with a maximum power of 150 kW (204 hp) and a comprehensive cruising range of up to 700 km.
