The core of Weilai is also at the level of intelligent technology, but unlike the fineness of Xiaopeng's on-board neural network, Weilai's intelligent system is mainly displayed at the hardware level, so Weilai also has room to rise.
Previously, NIO launched a layout in the field of SUVs, and now, NIO ET5, as its B-class sedan, was officially launched in December 2012. At the same time, this is also another pure electric car under Weilai after ET7, but the positioning of ET5 is obviously lower than that of ET7, not only in terms of pricing is relatively low, but also the size will be relatively small.
The NIO ET5 currently on sale has two model versions, namely the 2022 75kWh and the 2022 100kWh, and their official guidance prices are 328,000 yuan and 386,000 yuan, respectively. In addition, there is another 150kWh that is about to be launched, but has not yet been pre-priced.
However, the official cruising range of the 150kWh version is 1000 km, and the cruising range of the sale is 550 km and 700 km respectively. There is no difference in power between the models, they all belong to the dual-motor four-wheel drive version, so after the power of the front and rear axle motors is superimposed, the model has 489 electric horsepower and 700 Nm of motor torque.
The power of this model is not low, after all, it is a dual motor four-wheel drive, and the starting response of the motor itself will be very sharp, and its sense of acceleration will be obvious, so the model can have a strong power effect under sufficient electric power torque distribution. And its power reserve also has obvious late re-acceleration ability, and the power response is relatively excellent.
In fact, the appearance design of Weilai ET5 is very similar to ET7, and it continues to be the same styling design, but due to positioning factors, the body has been reduced in size, so it looks more like a small ET7. The layout of the front face of the model is still a split headlight, and the streamlined light group structure can effectively reduce power consumption.
The light group at the rear of the car is a through-type light strip shape, which is more characteristic of lighting at night, but there is no other bright spot in the entire tail except for this through light strip. The body side lines are smooth and smooth, and the hidden door handle is mainly to reduce the wind resistance coefficient, and the other is aesthetic. The drag coefficient of this model is also very low, reaching 0.24Cd.
There are three sensors distributed in front of the top of the car, with lidar embedded in the middle and high-definition cameras on both sides of the lidar. In addition to this, the two sides of the fenders of this model, as well as the shark fins in the middle of the top of the slipback, and the exterior mirrors, all have high-definition cameras. These are what we can see, in addition to the smart hardware that we don't see, distributed around the vehicle.
In addition to the configuration of smart hardware, this model is also equipped with electric suction doors and trunk induction opening as standard, and electric suction doors are very rare in this price point, so its configuration performance is equally excellent. Most of the materials in the car are also soft bag materials, the steering wheel is all standard leather, and although the seats are all imitation leather materials, they can be selected with leather materials.
