From the obscurity of the market in 2017 to the owner of the car in 2021, the reason is that in addition to our promotion, the poison has accurately solved a pain point in the car:

The physics teacher told us that the engine work step is divided into four steps: suction, pressure, explosion, discharge, also known as four strokes. Carbon deposits will affect the two strokes of intermediate "pressure" and "explosion".

In the second step, the combustion chamber of the compression stroke is compressed, and the piston goes up to reduce the volume of the fuel mixture. Carbon deposits are bulky and occupy the space in the combustion chamber designed by the engineers, increasing the compression ratio and removing the values set in ECU Mapping.
Moreover, the carbon deposit is magnified, like a small hill with strange rocks, the microscopic upturned corners are high temperatures, and under a higher compression ratio, it is easy to ignite high concentrations of oil and gas mixtures.
In this way, in the third step of the explosion stroke, before the spark plug activates the arc, the mixture is ignited prematurely, and in an unpredictable direction and angle, it will burst open, giving the piston a timeless and off-axis downforce.
This is called a knock.
There are many sources of carbon deposits, such as filtering unclean air, impurity gum in gasoline, ash in motor oil, etc., we will not delve into it, as long as we know:
Once burned, carbon deposits are generated.
The variables are just the amount of carbon deposited, the speed of generation, and the temperature, the location of the problem... Wait, location? temperature?
For example, the carbon deposit of manifold injection (ordinary electric spray) is easy to accumulate behind the valve, and it is easy to get stuck in the valve exhaust valve if there is more.
The carbon deposited directly sprayed in the cylinder is easy to accumulate in the spark plug, piston top, and injector nozzle, and if there is more, it is easy to detonate, misfire, and the oil spray atomization is not good.
The more convenient solution is fuel additives, hanging bottles, walnut sand, dry ice cleaning this kind of big move aside.
Fuel additives are divided into several generations, before ferrocene, MMT because it is not environmentally friendly, not to mention, closer to us are polyisobutylamine PIBA, and polyetheramine PEA.
Complex Chinese chemical names you don't have to memorize, just know that their main role in cleaning is "amine".
Although the two of them have the order of invention era, there is no absolute substitution relationship between advantages and disadvantages.
Two key points:
BASF-based PABA is more suitable for manifold injection due to the relatively low temperature after entering and exiting the exhaust valve.
Chevron-based PEA is more suitable for direct injection in the cylinder due to the relatively high temperature in the combustion chamber.
The DDR bottle is printed with 70%-80% PEA polyetheramine, reflecting three points:
1. This recipe, first of all, the active ingredient PEA gave you half a bottle, what bicycle do you want? The remaining one-third of the solvent oil is used by HKS to adjust the body sensation, which can slightly increase the octane number, lubricate the upper cylinder wall, etc. Of course, there are still some secret recipes in HKS that will not be announced.
2. Taking the PEA route, the ability to clear carbon is stronger than PABA, but it requires a higher cylinder temperature, so it is more suitable for direct injection in the cylinder.
3. If it is a mixed injection car, manifold injection and direct injection are both, such as Toyota's VVT-iW series engine, if you use DDR to clear carbon deposits, remember to run at high speed, and pull the cylinder temperature up.
I take advantage of my position to use no less than dozens of bottles of DDR, generally every few thousand and eleven thousand kilometers will shake a bottle, or feel that the engine texture has declined, but also a bottle. The difference between somatosensory sensation before and after use is obvious.
However, the most impressive, or in 2017 when the first use, originally did not expect much, but open on the road ... Well? The whole voice will be different and there will be surprises.
At high speed, various speeds and various gears are tried, the engine sound line becomes soft and delicate, and the vibration transmitted by the steering wheel to the hand is also reduced.
After driving for hundreds of kilometers, the inherent knocking cylinder at a certain speed also disappears, and the response of the power is more heeled. In my GK5, for example, fuel consumption will be about 0.5 liters lower.
Later, before using DDR every time, there will be some secret anticipation, like waiting for a long-lost feast, preparing for the faint excitement before the meal.
DDR is a good product, no problem from the technical route, no problem from the experience, market feedback is a clear answer.
