He actively organized the college skating, land curling, and speed skating teams to participate in the 2nd and 3rd Ice and Snow Games in Hebei Province. At the same time, with the strong support of the leaders of the unit, he planned and held the second and third school-level ice and snow games of Xingtai College, and the competition items were added from a single roller skating competition to four sports such as figure skateboarding, land curling and skate wheels; athletes expanded from the participation of sports students to the students and faculty members of the whole college; the number of participants increased from 2,000 in the second session to 3,000 in the third session.
In order to increase the participation of ice and snow sports in extracurricular sports activities in schools, teacher Liu Zhiguo took the initiative to contact the main person in charge of the skateboarding club and introduced the figure skateboarding project to the school-level ice and snow project for the first time. On November 20, 2021, under the guidance of teacher Liu Zhiguo, Xingtai College successfully established the Ice and Snow Sports Association.
