Recently, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Guangdong Province issued the "Announcement on the Tenth Batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units to Be Recommended List", after the declaration, expert on-site assessment, evaluation committee meeting and other procedures, a total of 134 units were selected into the tenth batch of Guangdong Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units to be recommended list. Among them, Renhua was selected for three places, namely the ruins of the Lion Rock Temple, the Danxia Mountain Pagoda Tomb Group, and the Angang Siyi Hall.
Among them, angang Siyi Hall was built in the Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in 2006. The siyi hall is nearly 20 meters wide, 31 meters deep, covers an area of 620 square meters; the front eaves line ink paints various auspicious patterns; the shou pattern background shrine hangs a wooden plaque with gold characters on a red background "SiYi Tang", and the entire ancestral hall contains distinct southern ancestral hall characteristics and high artistic value. The ancestral hall is also a private school, which has cultivated many talents.
During the period of the First Civil Revolutionary War, many proletarian revolutionaries and revolutionaries of the older generation organized and led the Renhua Uprising that shocked Guangdong, Hunan and Gansu, the Battle of Huayang Village, the Battle for the Defense of Shuangfeng Village, etc. In SiyiTang, Siyitang was also the site of the establishment of the first township peasant association in Renhua County, the first township Soviet government, and the seat of the first committee of renhua County of the Communist Party of China.
In recent years, Renhua County, with the provincial cultural relics protection unit as the starting point, has conscientiously implemented the work policy of "protection first, rescue first, rational utilization, and strengthening management", effectively done a good job in the protection, utilization and management of cultural relics, enhanced the influence of Renhua red culture, and helped the great Danxia tourism upgrade and development and Renhua red culture brand building.
