Looking for the new era "red turban" exhibition women's style

Chinese women play an increasingly important role in promoting foreign economic construction, cultural exchanges and disseminating Oriental virtues. A century ago, rural women in the Sanshui region of Guangdong province crossed the sea to work on construction sites in Singapore, and they were called "red turbans" by the locals because they used red turbans as tooling to distinguish them from other ethnic groups in Guangdong who made a living here. As a weak group of Chinese people in Nanyang, they work together, are honest and trustworthy, bear hardships and stand hard work, engage in construction work without complaint, immerse themselves in the bottom of society and can use their own strength to participate in and integrate into the process of building a modern state in Singapore. Their obscure dedication stories have been written into Singapore's primary school textbooks; their image of conscientious labor has been permanently cast into statues of cities and museums; and their independent and self-respecting personality and life style are regarded as the "red turban spirit" of Chinese integration into the overseas world.

With its own grassroots strength, the "Red Turban" deeply shows the pioneering and enterprising national style of Chinese women, who have traveled to the vast space between China and overseas, rooted in the cultural environment of foreign countries, and won the respect of the international community with their words and deeds of adhering to Chinese culture, and have also made themselves a typical Chinese image that is respected and recognized by the world.

With the development of society, a large number of outstanding women have emerged in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, who are active in all walks of life, they are confident and enterprising, energetic and promising, and are the "red turbans" of the new era. In order to show the style of women in the new era, Guangdong Cantonese Theatre and Nanfang Metropolis Newspaper, a media group of Southern Newspapers, jointly launched the "Looking for the 'Red Turban' of the New Era" activity to find female representatives of the new era with the spirit of "red turban" in the Greater Bay Area and pay tribute to them.

On the day of the event, the search for the "red turban" posterity activity was launched at the same time. The activity carried forward the spirit of "red turban" through the narration of the descendants of the "red turban".
