Huang Guoqin is currently a member of the Chinese Writers Association, a member of the Presidium of the Guangdong Writers Association, a first-class writer, a member of the Presidium of the Guangdong Provincial Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the chairman of the Chaozhou Literary Association and the chairman of the Chaozhou Writers Association, the editor-in-chief of the Hanjiang Literary Magazine, and has won many domestic awards such as the China Contemporary Prose Award and the First Qin Mu Prose Award of Guangdong Province.
