I would like to insert an overview of the insurance data of new energy vehicles in the recent article on the new industry, and have a more detailed analysis in the follow-up.

Overall, chips still have a great impact on China's terminal market: the entire passenger car insurance data in December was 2.2636 million units, as a traditional closing month, this data is down 15.29% from 2.672 million in 2020, and it is also the lowest number since 2016.

Throughout the year, the passenger car insurance data was finally locked at 21.0768 million units, which was basically the same as in 2019.

Overall situation

Figure 2 is the case of independent brands:

There are five companies that rushed to 100,000 units in a single month, namely Geely 147,000 units, Changan 121,600 units, Great Wall 114,900 units, SAIC-GM-Wuling 101,400 units and BYD 107,000 units, and the cumulative passenger car insurance data of these five companies throughout the year was 1.294 million, 1.177 million, 1 million, 971,000 and 719,800, respectively.

The second echelon mainly includes Chery 64,700, SAIC Passenger Vehicles 56,300, GAC 53,000 and Hongqi 31,500, with a total of 569,000, 546,000, 438,000 and 272,000 in 2021.

The situation of foreign-funded enterprises is as follows:

FAW-Volkswagen has 176,000, SAIC-Volkswagen 144,000, SAIC-GM 119,800 and Dongfeng Nissan 106,100, with annual volumes of 1,815,000, 1,474,500, 1,284,000 and 1,042,300, respectively.

BMW, Guangfeng, FAW Toyota, two Hondas and Mercedes-Benz are in the range of 760,000-820,000.

The sum of Korean cars has been compressed to 530,000, Ford has rebounded to 286,000, and Tesla has broken through 320,000.

On the whole, various auto companies are still affected by chips.

The biggest challenge with the current data is that the wholesale quantity is earlier than the terminal sales volume. It is difficult for us to judge from the wholesale data that we can completely accurately see the real situation of the large optional consumption of automobiles and the impact of the recent economic environment on this situation.

Since September, it has been stuck at -15% year-on-year, which is not ideal.

Part 2

The situation of some new energy vehicles

I'd like to smoke some typical companies to talk about.

Mainly Tesla's single-month insurance data broke through 70,000 units, of which Model 3 is nearly 30,000 units, Model Y 40,000 units, and the cumulative insurance data in China in 2021 is 322,000 units, compared with 147,000 units in 2021, an increase of 118.6%, this data is still very bullish.

BYD's monthly insurance data exceeded 107,200 units, including 50,000 BEVs, 44,400 PHEV units plus 12,000 oil vehicles, BEV 296,600, PHEV 229,000 and 193,000 oil vehicles for the whole year.

Remarks: In 2022, the oil truck can basically be completely converted to PHEV.

From the perspective of the whole year, Qin DM-I has 83,400 units, Tang DM-I 46,100 units, Song DM-I 63,700 units, and Han PHEV 30,000 units.

In the whole year of 2021, among the pure electric vehicles, Han EV has 78,700 units and Qin Plus 40,000 units, follow-up Yuan and E2 are 37,500 units and 32,000 units, respectively, and Qin, Song Plus and Dolphin are 27,500 units, 24,700 units and 20,000 units, respectively.

In the traditional automobile enterprises, Euler has completed a wave of transformation, upgrading from black cats to good cats - good cats have sold more than 10,000 in a single month.

In 2021, there were 69,000 black cats, 19,000 white cats, and 44,600 good cats, totaling 132,900 units.
