The amount of financing to date has reached $30.8 million
(January 12, 2022) -- VR concert platform AmazeVR has announced that it has completed $15 million in funding from Partners Investment, Smilegate Investment, Quantum Ventures Korea, ABC Partners, Everrich Group and GS Futures. To date, the Los Angeles-based company has raised $30.8 million.
It is reported that the team will use this fund to expand the scale of personnel and further develop related VR concert platforms, thereby further narrowing the distance between fans and artists.
In addition, AmazeVR announced that it will conduct a Series B fundraising in early 2022.

AmazeVR said: "This funding allows us to continue to actively recruit talent. In 2021, our teams in Hollywood, USA, and Seoul, South Korea, tripled. We've been able to attract the top talent in the industry that we come into contact with. This also allows us to take full advantage of the growing popularity of virtual reality and the metaverse. ”
It is worth mentioning that AmazeVR will partner with three-time Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallio to deliver a VR tour to select AMC theaters in the spring of 2022. According to reports, the technology stems from the team's years of research and development, involving a proprietary 9K camera, as well as software capable of automatically implementing complex Unreal visual effects and supporting more than 100 headsets at the same time. Using this technology, the company plans to scale up content creation, releasing new VR concert experiences to theater and home audiences on a weekly basis by 2024.
The company further commented: "You need to experience our virtual reality concerts first-hand to fully understand their impact. Virtual reality can finally sweep away all 2D experiences. Thanks to our technology, we can evoke a sense of real presence that you can't achieve from a flat screen. This opened a new chapter in music. We are very pleased that investors have seized this and supported us in our innovation and growth. ”
