Recently, according to foreign media exposure, Porsche announced its withdrawal from the research and development and manufacture of Volkswagen's flagship model project "Artemis" after paying 100 million euros (equivalent to about 722 million yuan) to the Volkswagen Group. It is reported that the project was previously jointly developed by Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche and Bentley, with the internal code name "Landjet", and the car will also become a new flagship model for the future electrification of the Volkswagen Group.

However, according to reports released by the German media, Porsche does not want to produce the Volkswagen Group's "duplicate models" in any way. There are internal rumors that Porsche does not want Volkswagen to control the quality production of Porsche's new flagship "K1" in the future, so an agreement has been reached within the Volkswagen Group to allow Porsche to produce the upcoming high-performance electric vehicles at its own Leipzig plant instead of the Volkswagen Hanover plant that was previously agreed.
Porsche believes that Porsche users are less interested in automation than in performance, so it does not want to use the advanced driver assistance systems offered by Artemis. The person in charge of Porsche said in an interview with foreign media that in the future, Porsche's flagship model will adhere to the performance and quality of Porsche and strive to bring users the best products in the industry.
