New H3C won the bid for China Mobile Data Center Switch Collection, gaining nearly 30% of the share

The collection was divided into 4 bidding packages, with a total budget of more than 3 billion yuan (including tax) and a total number of 16,420 bidding units, all of which were the highest bidding scale of the product in China Mobile's calendar year. New H3C Group, a subsidiary of Tsinghua Unigroup, was shortlisted for the two bid packages of bid collection 2 and bid package 3, and obtained nearly 30% of the share.

In recent years, China Mobile has begun to build ultra-large-scale data centers for different business types, such as IT cloud, network cloud, and mobile cloud, which has generated a large number of data center switch products.

Tsinghua Unigroup said that as the core component of massive data exchange in large-scale data centers, data center switches need to have extremely high reliability, stability and security, and at the same time, with the increasing diversification of business needs, data center switches also need to keep pace with the times.

To this end, every year in the data center switch collection, China Mobile Research Institute will organize experts to conduct rigorous technical tests on each product. In the test, the S12500F-AF series, S6900 series, S6850 series and S9820 series products of New H3C Group passed the test with excellent results and successfully won the bid.

Taking the S12500F-AF series core switch that won the bid this time as an example, it is currently the industry's leading core switching device, and the series has received a large number of practical applications in China Mobile's three clouds and various business areas.

Tsinghua Unigroup said that at a time when cloud-network integration has become the driving force for operators' networks and business development, New H3C Group has fully participated in the infrastructure construction of operators' cloud-network integration by virtue of its full-stack technology capabilities and strong delivery and operation and maintenance capabilities of cloud- and network integration, and has gradually evolved into a mainstream professional manufacturer with a solid position in the operator market.

It is reported that in the past year, New H3C Group has been steadily fighting, and routers, switches, servers, storage, security and other products have entered the core position of operator infrastructure. A series of star products were delivered to China Mobile's intelligent cloud private network, China Telecom's new metropolitan area network, and China Unicom's intelligent metropolitan area network, becoming a benchmark project for New H3C in the construction of operators' large networks. At the same time, H3C Group actively participates in the formulation of operator network standards and has become a force that cannot be underestimated as an ICT industry standard participation force.
