Many died on the anti-Japanese front, and because of the heavy casualties, Liu Shouwei returned to Hunan with his troops and was incorporated into the health brigade of the 50th Division.
At the beginning of the second year, the Japanese army began to march into Shandong, who knew that Han Fuyu, who was stationed in Shandong, fled without a fight in order to preserve his strength, a large part of Shandong's territory was lost, and he also lost the natural danger of the Yellow River, and finally the Chinese and Japanese armies launched a fierce battle in the Taierzhuang area, Tan Daoyuan was ordered to lead his troops to support, just entered the position, and launched a fierce battle with the Japanese army, although the officers and men of the 50th Division were not afraid of sacrifice, they fought bravely, but they had no choice but to have a big gap between the equipment and the Japanese army, and the Nationalist army suffered heavy losses, in order to complete the task of blocking the attack. Tan Daoyuan had been directing the battle on the front line for five days and five nights without closing his eyes.
At that time, Liu Shouwei followed his company near Yuwang Mountain, was attacked by the Japanese army, in the fierce battle, the company commander was shot in a pool of blood, Liu Shouwei had no time to rescue, he was slashed to death by a Japanese officer who rushed over, Liu Shouwei then held up a large stone and smashed it at the Japanese officer, the Japanese officer was smashed by the brain plasma, killed on the spot, but at this time a bullet hit Liu Shouwei's back, and the huge pain made her faint.
After the battle, she was carried to the wounded soldiers' station in Chentang Village, although her comrades rescued her, but Liu Shouwei lost too much blood and died that night, before dying, she took out a letter, two pieces of ocean and a photo from her clothes, and handed them to a big lady next to her, hoping that she would forward these things to her hometown.
After Liu Shouwei's death, her body was carried by two minfu to the cemetery in the east of the village, buried there, and the eldest lady watched her being buried and always remembered the location, and later the elder mother found out that the female soldier was only 18 years old and had previously been a student in Changsha, Hunan.
Soon the Japanese army will hit Chen Tang Village, the eldest lady has not yet come to send these things, pressed them at the bottom of the box and fled, who knows when she comes back, the envelope of the letter has been blurred by the tide, the letter paper inside is still there, but there is no address that cannot be sent out, liu Shouwei's dying will is not completed, the eldest lady feels very sad, she will keep the letter, the silver dollar and the only photo well, but this has always been a piece of her heart disease.
After that, the eldest lady went to Liu Shouwei's tomb every year to worship the grave, and when she was old, she asked her grandson to go for herself, and in 1995, the eldest lady died, and on her deathbed, she instructed her grandson Chen Kailing to find the whereabouts of the heroine's hometown.
In order to complete his grandmother's last will, Chen Kailing searched for Liu Shouwei's family until 2004, when he was publicized by a newspaper and with the help of many enthusiastic people, he finally found the heroine's family in Hanshou County, Hunan Province, after several months. In July of that year, Liu Shouwei's remains were transported back to her hometown, her soul returned to her hometown, and she was buried in the Hunan Martyrs' Cemetery, and after the heroine's death 66 years later, her dying wish was finally fulfilled.
