The legendary Qin Shi Huang's heirloom jade seal
According to legend, after Qin Shi Huang unified the Six Kingdoms, he carved a jade seal with Heshi Bi. There is controversy as to whether this imperial jade seal was made by Heshi Bi, but according to historical records, Qin Shi Huang did secretly order jade workers to carve an imperial jade seal after unifying the Six Kingdoms, commonly known as the "Heavenly Son's Seal". This fang jade seal is carved from the white jade of Shaanxi Lantian. On the jade seal there is the inscription "Ordered by Heaven, That Is Shou Yongchang" written by Cheng Xiang Li Si in a large seal.
With the change of dynasties, because the legend that the Chuanguo Jade Seal was made of Heshi Bi to show the special meaning given to it, representing the true supreme power, the unchanged is that the Chuanguo Jade Seal has been passed down. After Liu Bang destroyed the State of Qin and obtained the world, Zi Bao gave liu Bang the Jade Seal of the Chuanguo, and at the end of the Han Dynasty, after experiencing the rebellion of Dong Zhuo, the Jade Seal fell into the hands of Sun Jian and Yuan Shu successively.
In the play "Romance of the Three Kingdoms", there is such a plot that you must remember, that is, Sun Jian was killed after taking the Chuanguo Jade Seal, when the young Sun Quan said a word, whose Jade Seal, who died. Yes, at that time, the world was in turmoil, and whoever captured the Chuanguo Jade Seal was closer to the Emperor, but if this person did not have a strong strength, he would definitely be robbed of the Jade Seal by others and die!
