I was deeply moved by this when I read this.

For the tide merchants, integrity is the foundation of their foothold, a group of people with lofty ideals, go to Nanyang, uprooted from home, in order to make a career, in addition to a body of skills, but also need is honest and trustworthy business philosophy. In the book, regardless of the size of the business, the characters in the book are representatives of local bravado, integrity and reliability. Of course, most people want to be able to get rich and wealthy, and the tide merchants are no exception, but they have not abandoned the standard they adhere to in their hearts while seeking benefits, and they have vividly embodied the "business and business way" and regarded overseas Chinese criticism as more important than their own lives. Zheng Mengmei has accumulated a lot of wealth, and could have enjoyed his old age peacefully and become a comfortable rich man, but he still worked tirelessly, looking for shen batches one by one, and doing this kind of "loss-making" business, which is the power of credit.

In addition, the home and country feelings of the tide merchants are also an important point that impresses me. After going to Nanyang, the families and living places of the Chao merchants were no longer in China, but when the land of China was trampled by the Japanese invaders, the Chao merchants represented by Zheng Mengmei did their best to create the "Dongxing hui road" at all costs, and we could not measure their thoughts and beliefs with the ideas of ordinary businessmen.
