1,371 AD, the fourth year after the founding of the Ming Dynasty. Liu Bowen, who was awarded the title of "Sincere Bo", resigned his official post and returned to Wencheng County, Zhejiang Province, where he had been separated for more than ten years and lived in seclusion in Wencheng County.
After Liu Bowen lived in seclusion, he studied the "HuangLaoZhixue" in Wencheng County, hoping to find the "avenue" of "eternal life and long-sightedness" from the articles of the Huanglao School. Although Liu Bowen did not find a way to "live forever" from these articles, he had the ability to see through the world.
So Liu Bowen went out of the house and left behind all kinds of stone tablets that we now call everywhere. Among these stone tablets, the most concerned is the "Monument of Liu Bowen in Taibai Mountain, Shaanxi", which is known as the "Monument to Saving Disasters". The reason why this stone stele will attract much attention is because on this stone stele, Liu Bowen wrote down a series of "prophecies" for the future. Moreover, most of these prophecies, inscribed on the stone tablets, contrast with what happened in the hereafter.
Especially in the past two years, the emergence and development of the "Black Swan Event", "Monument to Rescue robbery" is Liu Bowen's "prophetic monument" for future generations, which has become the hottest topic for a while.
So, in fact, is the "Monument to Salvation" really left by Liu Bowen in order to make a prophecy for the future generations?
Liu Bowen, real name Liu Ji, the word Bowen. He himself is not only one of the great heroes who contributed to the establishment of the Ming Dynasty, but also one of the famous writers in the historical period of the late Yuan and early Ming dynasties. And Liu Bowen was also named "Sincere Bo" by Ming Taizu Zhu Yuanzhang, so he was called "Liu Chengxin" by later generations. Judging from the historical record, Liu Bowen does not seem to be so mysterious as the folk tradition, especially after analyzing him personally, we will also find that this Liu Bowen is not only not a god, but also appears to be a little "stupid".
So why is such a somewhat "stupid" person, but in modern times people are regarded as "living gods"? There is also the "Monument to The Rescue" full of "mysterious color", is it really Liu Bowen's prediction for future generations?
Leaving aside Liu Bowen, we can first look at what is said on this stone tablet.
At the beginning of the stele, a large line is engraved, on which it is written: "The heavens have eyes; the earth has eyes; everyone has a pair of eyes, and the heavens are turned over; the earth is also turned; people are idle and immortal." ”
From the perspective of ancient poetry appreciation, the level of this line of poetry is actually not high. The degree of "oiling" is simply not worthy of Liu Bowen's identity as a literary artist. However, considering that in the legend, liu Bowen's stele is reserved for ordinary people to see, so we will not study the literary nature of its writing too much. On the contrary, it is precisely because of the extreme bluntness of this inscription that the next content of this inscription has a glimmer of possibility of becoming a "prophecy".
For example, in the inscription of this stele, there are two sentences: "If you ask when the plague will appear, look at the ninetieth winter month." ”
At first glance, the poem may seem fine, but as the epidemic expanded, someone linked the two. Especially after China's scientific researchers determined the initial time of the outbreak of the epidemic, many people finalized and confirmed Liu Bowen's identity as a "great prophet".
Didn't the epidemic spread in the three months of September, October and November? Moreover, Liu Bowen's inscription also says that the sentence "the poor have 10,000 left 3, and the rich 15,000 and 15,000" does not mean that this "plague" will cause a storm throughout the country?
If you really explain it this way, it is inevitable that there will be some "open one eye, one eye closed". Let's not say whether the inscription on this stone stele was written by Liu Bowen or not, let's talk about the overall content of this inscription. After reading the whole text, does no one think that this inscription has a "edification" meaning in it?
For example, in the subsequent part of the inscription, "Ten Sorrows in Front of You": one worries about the chaos in the world; the other worries about things starve to death; and the three sorrows of Lake Guang suffered natural disasters... Seven sorrows have food and no one to eat; eight sorrows have clothes and no one to wear; nine sorrows have no inspection of corpses; ten sorrows are sad in the year of pigs, cows, and rats.
However, it is precisely because of this "ten sorrows in front of the eyes" that many people are more certain that the "Monument of Salvation" is a "Prophetic Monument". Because we all know that the earliest outbreak point of this epidemic in China is Wuhan City in Hubei Province. And this echoes with the "Three Sorrows Lake Wide Suffering from Natural Disasters" in the "Ten Sorrows".
In fact, as early as the end of June 2019, before the epidemic began, Wang Yongyan, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, said at an academic conference that "there will be a plague in the second half of the year". And this sentence was also confirmed by the video of the meeting after the outbreak of the epidemic.
From this point of view, doesn't it mean that Academician Wang Yongyan is also a "great prophet" like Liu Bowen?
In fact, we can get the answer from the follow-up interview of academician Wang Yongyan by the journalist. Academician Wang Yongyan said: "The reason why I said this sentence so affirmatively at the meeting is because the air in the southern region is humid due to the terrain. After winter, this humid climate can easily cause bacteria to breed and spread. Once the bacteria cause a large-scale spread in the population, a regional plague will be formed. ”
Seeing this, I think the so-called "prophecy" in this "ten sorrows in front of the eyes" can be well explained, right?
Next, we will take our eyes off the inscription and combine Liu Bowen's life experience with the content of the inscription, and we can know why the content of this inscription looks so much like a "prophecy".
First of all, since Hongwu returned to his hometown in the fourth year of Hongwu, that is, in 1371 AD, Liu Bowen has been drinking wine and making friends around his hometown. It was not until later, because of the affairs of Hu Weiyong, the prime minister, that he left his hometown and went back to the city of Nanjing, the capital of Yingtianfu at that time. Shortly after going to Nanjing, Liu Bowen died of illness at the age of sixty-four.
What we can be sure of is that Liu Bowen made considerable efforts in the process of establishing the Ming Dynasty. However, due to Zhu Yuanzhang's personal reasons, Liu Bowen only had a title of "Count" level until his death.
In the face of this huge empire that he had built with his own accompaniment, Liu Bowen's heart said that it was impossible not to care. At that time, he had already left the court and became a "country village man". In desperation, he could only hope that his voice could be transmitted to the court through the way of folklore, and played some role in governing the world for the later emperors of the Ming Dynasty. Therefore, this can also show that the inscription of the rescue monument is not the prophecy made by Liu Bowen on the "black swan event" in 2021, and everyone has interpreted it according to the inscription and their own understanding.
