At the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, Great Wall Motor's new sub-brand Salon released its first model, the Mech Dragon, but did not announce the interior design at the time. However, recently we obtained a set of mech dragon car interior drawings, and the overall design of the interior is basically the same as the official picture.
From the actual car interior drawing obtained, we can see that the central control uses a large-sized screen, and is equipped with a full LCD instrument, while the interior is wrapped with a large area of brown leather, and also equipped with a mecha-style air conditioning outlet, the interior as a whole presents a relatively good sense of technology and luxury.
Judging from the official interior pictures of the mecha dragon released by Salon Car, the overall design of the interior is very simple, only a small number of physical buttons are retained, and the central control screen runs from the main driver to the co-pilot, and different contents can be displayed on the split screen. There are no physical buttons on the double-spoke steering wheel, and touch-based operation is expected. At the same time, it can be vaguely seen that a lot of Alcantara material is used inside to add to the luxurious feeling.
The shape of the seat is spliced and wrapped in Alcantara+Nappa material, and the rear row is designed with two seats, and the overall shape is consistent with the front row. At the same time, the seat will also be equipped with multi-directional electric adjustment, seat massage, heating/ventilation of the front and rear seats, electric adjustment, etc., so that comfort can be guaranteed.
At the 2021 Guangzhou Auto Show, Sharon also announced the price of the Global Limited Edition model of the Mech Dragon: 488,000 yuan, and limited to 101 units, which were sold out on the same day. The Mecha Dragon is equipped with 4 lidar, 38 intelligent driving sensing elements, NPU computing power up to 400TOPS, CPU computing power up to 440K DMIPS.
In terms of power, the Mech Dragon will be equipped with a front and rear permanent magnet motor, with a maximum power of 405kW (551 horsepower), a peak torque of 750 Nm, and a 115 kWh Dayu battery pack, an acceleration time of 0-100km/h of 3.7 seconds, and a CLTC cruising range of 802km.
