It took me through time and space, allowed me to cross the years and touch her heart. In my painting language, the natural and material worlds can give people a sense of beauty in form or appearance, all of which are derived from the color and shape of Dunhuang murals. In the Dunhuang murals, I formed my own picture composition, the contrast between complexity and simplicity, the contrast between the colorful colors and the purity, the contrast between the sparse and dense lines, the contrast between the modern and the classical in the shape, and so on. Use the expression of Dunhuang's artistic language to recreate the spirit of oriental art. The ink context is the symbol of Chinese painting, if the ink context is lost, then Chinese painting will also end from the stage of history. Therefore, the ink context is irreversible and eternal. Therefore, any painting technique or theory must be based on the context of ink painting. The context of ink painting is not a narrow form of ink painting, but refers to cultural attributes. Because ink painting is the general dialectical law of all families. Therefore, the culture left over from the Dunhuang murals is the best preserved ink context. But there are very few painters who can understand this. Therefore, the painters who sketch dunhuang murals almost all copy the shape and color of Dunhuang murals.
The elements of dunhuang murals are basically temporary in the application of contemporary painting, and there is no other achievement. Teacher Fan Fengqing is well versed in its reasoning and knows that studying Dunhuang is to find culture and find the most original ink context. Therefore, he created a series of works entitled "Painting as a Heart Seal, Viewing the Heart at Ease", which also laid a good foundation for him to establish his own painting language, and even came to the forefront in the field of Guanyin statues.

Fan Fengqing is a member of the China Artists Association, the China Gongbi Painting Association, a full-time painter of the Capital Museum Calligraphy and Painting Institute, a member of the Art Committee of the People's Painting Academy, a member of the Beijing Heavy Color Painting Society, and the vice president of the Beijing Wanhe Calligraphy and Painting Academy.
