Mao Sichun, male, born in 1957, Yibin, Sichuan, college degree, senior technician, senior registered Chinese cooking master, Sichuan cuisine meritorious craftsman, Sichuan cooking master, Yibin cooking master, Sichuan provincial catering industry certified division, first-class judge, member of China Cuisine Association, sichuan culinary association member, Vice President of Yibin Culinary Association, currently the director of the Nutrition Department of Yibin Second People's Hospital.
In 1972, he engaged in cooking, benefiting from the enlightenment education of teacher Liu Shaocheng, and was good at red cases, white cases, and nutritious meals. He has worked in many hotels in Shanghai, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Nanning and Beijing. It has developed 64 dishes of "whole bamboo shoot feast", 33 dishes of "konjac feast", 44 dishes of "dog meat banquet", and 106 dishes of Yibin River fresh, some of which have won "Yibin famous dishes". He has written 32 kinds of meals for patients, and published 23 papers and more than 100 dishes in Sichuan Cooking.
Perennial engaged in chef training and laid-off workers, migrant workers cooking skills free training work, training nearly 5,000 trainees, assessment organs and institutions cooking personnel nearly 8,000 person-times. He has been employed as a senior lecturer and visiting professor at Yibin Commercial Vocational Secondary School for many years. He has served as a judge of cooking competitions and food festivals at all levels in Sichuan Province and Yibin City for many times, and has made significant contributions to the development of the catering industry in Yibin City. Dozens of apprentices have obtained the titles of special third-level, special second-level, technician and senior technician, more than 20 have won the titles of provincial and national-level culinary masters and famous teachers, and most of them have served as chefs and executive chefs in hotels across the country.
He won the gold medal of the 1992 Haipai Cuisine Cooking Competition and the gold medal of the East China Division of the 1993 National Cooking Competition. In 2005, he led the team to participate in the 4th Sichuan Provincial Cooking Competition and won the best result of 2 special gold, 12 gold and 18 silver, and was commended by the municipal government. In 2007, he won the Outstanding Contribution Award for the Development of Sichuan Cuisine, was selected into the "Personalized Stamp of 100 Chinese Culinary Masters" by China Philatelic Corporation, and his works were selected into the eighth volume of "Selected Works of 100 Famous Chinese Culinary Masters". During the 2010 World Expo, Yibin noodles were recommended to guests from all over the world, and they were well received. In 2017, he won the Outstanding Contribution Award for the Development of Chinese Catering, the Meritorious Craftsman Award for the Brilliant 30 Years of Sichuan Cuisine, and the Outstanding Person Award for the 30 Years of Chinese Catering. In 2020, he was selected as the first volume of "Chinese Food Artisans".
In June 2018, he led the team to promote the Yibin "All Bamboo Banquet" to the World Bamboo and Rattan Congress held in Beijing, and made dishes for 1,000 delegates to taste, which was highly praised by FIBA Director General Faihans and unanimously praised by the delegates. At the beginning of September of the same year, he participated in the national provincial regional classic dishes and famous banquet press conference held in Zhengzhou, Yibin "Whole Bamboo Banquet" was selected as "Chinese Famous Feast", and individuals were awarded "China All Bamboo Banquet Promotion Ambassador" and "Whole Bamboo Banquet Non-hereditary Inheritor", and awarded the "Mao Sichun Whole Bamboo Banquet Skill Master Studio". At the end of September of the same year, he led the team to participate in the Chengdu China Food Festival and displayed the Yibin "All Bamboo Feast" to the people of the whole country.
