However, Xiucai will not enter the career after all, Long Ruyan went to participate in the township examination, but he fell off the list, he did not want to go back to face the disappointment of his parents, so he ran to the capital to see if there was any opportunity, and he really found the opportunity to enter a Dutong family as a staff. The capital of the Qing Dynasty refers to the supreme commander of each of the eight banners, who manages the hukou, production, education and training of the entire banner, and is an absolute real power figure.
During the Qing Dynasty, every year on the emperor's birthday, the ministers would write poems to praise the emperor's merits, and the Eight Banners were basically played with swords and guns, and the pen was not good at it, and the same was true for the unification that Long Ruyan served, so Du tong counted on Long Ruyan to help him. The examiners really did not value Long Ruyan's article, and the Jiaqing Emperor was very unhappy to see that there was no Long Ruyan, saying that the articles taken by the examiner were not good. The examiner, prompted by the eunuch, remembered Long Ruyan, who had been given by the emperor, and put his article in the first place, Jiaqing never said anything again, and Long Ruyan was hand-picked as a new branch leader.
It was a good deal to earn a poem, but he was quickly abandoned by Jiaqing because he made a one-word mistake.
Long Ruyan later became an official in the dynasty, and one of his tasks was to proofread the Records of Emperor Gaozong. One day, when he was out, someone sent him a proof of the "Records of Gaozong" for him to proofread, and his wife directly helped him receive it, and later did not tell him that this uncorrected "Records of Emperor Gaozong" was taken away a few days later.
Some people found that this manuscript actually miswrote the word "pure" of "Emperor Gaozong" with the word "absolute", and although Long Ruyan did not know it, the proofread signature slip was his name.
