This slate is specially built at first glance, is there something hidden underneath? Driven by the strong curiosity, everyone quickly moved the stone slab together, and what came into view was a row of neatly arranged stone strips, and under the stone strips, there was a black hole looming, and everyone did not dare to continue digging, and quickly notified the local relevant departments.
Considering that Longquan Temple has a history of more than 1,000 years, this "black hole" is most likely a dungeon, so the archaeological team of the Taiyuan Museum also rushed here immediately, after their emergency excavation, the appearance of the "black hole" was revealed, it is indeed a dungeon, but the current exposed underground palace area is not large, about 1 square meter, and then dug out a Tang Dynasty pagoda about 10 meters high, the people present were extremely excited.
In order to protect the site, the experts immediately pulled up a cordon to prevent the theft of cultural relics, in the next few days, the archaeological team worked together to finally find out the whole picture of the underground palace, they also dug out a huge stone letter (about 46 cm wide, about 28 cm high), which is very likely to contain Buddhist holy relics, in order to protect it, the archaeological team decided to send it to the museum to "open the letter".
The next scene became an unforgettable picture of the archaeologists present - opening the stone letter, there was a "gilded bronze rafter" from a thousand years ago! The outer walls are inlaid with exquisite patterns, all of which are about 0.2 mm thick copper sheets embedded in the rafters. The experts held their breath and carefully opened the "copper rafter", and there was a more exquisite "silver rafter" inside! If the experts' speculation is correct, there is also a "golden coffin" in the "silver rafter".
Sure enough, after opening the "silver coffin", a small and gorgeous "golden coffin" appeared in front of people's eyes, it is reasonable to say that the next step is to open the "golden coffin" to see what is inside, but to this day, no one dares to open this "golden coffin", what is the matter?
First of all, let's briefly understand the "golden coffin and silver rafter", which is a Buddhist burial tool, enshrined in the relics of the high monks, and the intangible cultural relics, it is also the highest specification in the Buddhist burial relics, so theoretically, this "golden coffin and silver coffin" must have placed the relics of a certain monk, but the experts present at this time made a mistake - because there is a "bow" on the golden coffin.
If you want to open the "golden coffin", you must untie this "bow", if you want to untie the "bow", then this ribbon that has a history of more than 1,000 years is very likely to disappear and cease to exist. Since the golden coffin could not be opened again while the "bow" was intact, the experts chose to leave it as it was.
To this day, the "golden coffin and silver coffin" unearthed in Longquan Temple in Taiyuan City are still placed in the museum's thermostat and are not on public display for the time being, and perhaps one day in the future, someone will come up with the best of both worlds and show the secrets inside the coffin to the world.
