In 1776, Luo Fangbo established the "Lanfang Company", and the following year, the organization that was originally a gold mine development company became the "Lanfang Grand General" Republic.
Luo Fangbo served as the "chief" of the country, and his status was almost the same as that of the king. Wu Yuansheng served as an important general in Lanfangguo, and was later sent by Luo Fangbo to garrison the eastern side of Lanfangguo.
