Recently, Dongguan United Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology carried out archaeological survey and exploration in Shajiao Village, Humen Town. During the exploration process, a sand dune site was discovered, and after more than 2 months of archaeological excavations, a large number of pottery pieces with a variety of ornaments, jade rings of exquisite jade, and stone tools such as hammers, hammers, and orthoping stones were unearthed. Judging from the characteristics and accumulation status of the excavated relics, the initial steps are judged to be from the end of the Neolithic period to the Shang period. This is the first dune type ancient cultural site discovered in Dongguan City. (Guangzhou Daily, New Flower City reporter: Liu Manyuan)
